Dear Friends of Music Since I can go, I have been interested in music. I could never save money during my apprenticeship, because I spent everything on new LPs and musicarrangements. Meanwhile a music studio had become from my room, later even a really professional mix studio. Till this day I observe the music scene daily. Little does more joy than good sound to me. In the meantime, I have mixed more than 40000 sound carriers as well as some sampler. Of course you are able to pre-listen on my homepage my newest CDs. However, you can still discover even more.In the 90s I have often worked also as a DJ. I put on in events, in clubs, in radio stations and in roller skate discos. I have had a music studio called Soundfactory for about 20 years and produce tracks and mix different tapes Nu Disco Deep House Soul Funk Jazz everything I like and if you feel like it you are welcome

My influences are extremely diversified. They range from old school Rock & Roll from the 70’s my parents use to listen at home, such as Elvis Presley, The Doors, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and many more, to stuff like Giorgio Moroder, David Bowie, The B52’s, The Cars and most of the artist of the crazy Disco years. As a matter of fact, these last names that I have mentionned were among the first records that I’ve personally purchased to start experimenting behind my first decks and mixer playing for small parties here and there. Starting in the late 80’s until the 90’s my musical preferences evolved towards some very different and diversified styles, ranging from industrial & rock to straight-ahead electronic music like Ministry, Front 242, Nitzer Ebb, Cat Rapes Dog, Cabaret Voltaire, Die Krupps, Die Warzau, Mussolini Headkick, Bigod 20, Kraftwerk, Front Line Assembly, Cassandra Complex, Art of Noise, Ministry, Skinny Puppy, Body Count, Green Jelly, Red Hot Chili Peppers, White Zombie, The Tea Party and even artists like Dread Zeppelin, Marilyn Manson, Ann Clark & Moby. In the last couple of years, I've listened mainly to underground and house music. Therefore my latest influences mainly come from my good friend Corvin Dalek & all the Wet and Hard Crew from Berlin, Oliver Klein, Marco Bellini, the excellent Saeed Younan, Pig & Dan, Dirty Funker, Midnight Society, Dave The Drummer, RPO, DR. Kucho, Timo Maas, Melleefresh & Deadmau5, and of course Indica , my mentor and partner. He is indeed my greatest influence and inspiration.

what bag lol everything and nothing I've been doing house/Techno since 92 thanks to the rave scene. I like most brands of house and techno. Not into commercial house/ trance/overproduced electro house or most Dubstep. Keep it twisted and funky, sweat your ass off till the the sun comes up is how we do in the NYC. Dj"s ---- Onionz, Sameer, James Christian, Frankie Bones, Dj Who, Josh Wink, Jeno, Hardkiss Bro's, Dj Dan, Doc Martin and A whole mess more yeah and all the Godfathers of house and techno, the producers I could go on forever and name them all but Really it was the local dj's in the Underground Nyc/Long Island/ Philly/ Baltimore and DC in the early 90's that changed the landscape Us dance Culture forged from cue's from over the pond they shaped something a bit different

Dehydr8ed
Dehydr8ed

-  Dehydr8ed represents a unique style of electronic music creation and manipulation.  Jason Randall and I (Niko Benetos) met in 2011 here on House-mixes.com.  Since then we have become very close friends.  We are both focused on pushing the limits of music manipulation and mixing in different ways.  I have been using Ableton Live for 9 years now. I Strip down tracks to samples, then arrange them with parts of others and my own synth, basslines percussion and effects to create a unique dance music experience.  There are no limits as to what can be done.  Most of my sets use about 20 channels and could take 50 to 100 hours to complete. Jason Randall is simply put the best DJ on the planet.  He is using upto 6 decks along with samplers and effects units and although he is the King of dark pounding techno he can throw down in any style and make the most seasoned of DJs seem amateur.  Don't waste your time reading this, just press play on the sets to see for yourself. I would Like to thank everybody for all the excellent comments and downloads.  This is a great place to catch new artists and  DJs and the music fans on this site are the best in the world. The comments and feedback I recieve here really drive me to put out the nastiest electronic dance music sets i possibly can.  Thank you all!!
