Hi Everyone . I like to introduce myself to all music lovers: DJBEAR a.k.a DJBERKAND “Purveyor of deep, infectious dance grooves and a feel-good atmosphere.” That’s how Berkand describes himself as a DJ. Never afraid to go too deep, his emotive musical selections are his own therapy. Having grown up on his father’s eclectic combination of Rock N Roll music (Elvis Presley,The Beatles), European pop stars (Mina, Julio Iglesias, Adriano Celentano), synth-infused 80s music (Depeche Mode, Gary Numan)… all which became infused with his own love for both disco, jazz and soft rock music, Berkand ended up with quite a mixed spectrum of musical influence. Today, this translates into sets where he picks apart and infuses together all the pieces of this music that he loves best: beautiful synth work, ethereal backdrops, brooding basslines, and occasional vocal hooks… all on top of a pronounced foot-shuffling house beat. A very active member of Deep House community, Berkand is no stranger to the ups-and-downs of a small-town music scene. Though he loves playing in nightclubs, patios and special events, his love for music goes beyond the spectrum of mixing tunes. As a producer, amateur pianist, and promoter, he has found plenty of ways to express himself musically. Not a DJ, however I do appreciate the work that goes into the mixes, absolute brilliant, I do make some mixes cued in, love to learn how to do this successfully though only really started doing them about 2 or 3 months ago now, I think my efforts might have improved since then. DJ TroubleDee ...Professionell Allround oldschool Mixing DJ My career as a DJ began when I had to step in as a substitute DJ in one of the hippest discos in the region in 1989, as the resident DJs had both canceled due to illness. For the first time I had to play in such a large location and so many people music and prove if I really have DJ talent and I might consider myself in this club a second time as a DJ and angeagiert, or if I will never be booked there as a DJ again. Of course, I took this opportunity as "My Chance" and gave it my best that evening and was able to actually convince the happy dancing party people and the management of the discotheque of my DJ talent. Although during my DJ gig in the mainroom of the discotheque * GOLDEN GATE * during the first 2 hours of excitement I had such shaky hands as never before in my life, that even the managing director was so amused that he grinned personally to me came to the DJ pulpit to bring me alcoholic drinks (Vodka Lemon), with the saying; "Here .. drink that calms your nerves and helps against stage fright" ...LOL So I got in the discotheque Golden-Gate so the solid commitment from there to be the 3rd Resident DJ. More and more frequently, as a DJ, I got the opportunity to make music for a whole party-night and to have the party guests dance to my whistle. In the meantime, I looked at a lot of the older experienced DJs asked a lot, practiced and improved is my MUSIC mixing with the turntables and thus learned more and more. In 1992, I hired as a DJ in the just opened discotheque WayUp. At first there was only one of the flexible replacement DJs since there were already 5 DJs in front of me. Anyway, the management of the discotheque WayUp seemed to have discovered in me great potential in terms of my talent as a DJ. Because more and more often I should now make music on the main days ... etc in short: .. within a 1/2 year I made it from the only 6th violin to the 1st violin of WayUp DJ herachie. Now as the resident DJ number 1 of this club, I now also had the biggest and full responsibility for this one. From now on, I will indicate with which music genres the club will have its success in the future. I can now formally impress the club with "my" DJ stamp by always having the right richer for the right genre and anticipating always the right MUSIC SELECTION in music shopping, which is absolutely crucial for the successful or unsuccessful future career of the discotheque is! This is the greatest trust and responsibility that a discotheque management entrusts to its No.1 resident DJ. Because as everyone knows .. runs in a discotheque constantly only bad music that does not appeal to the guests, then these guests go to another discotheque to dance and party. In addition, something like that speaks very quickly so that fewer and fewer guests come. And fewer and fewer guests means at the same time .... less and less revenue and revenue! No revenue ... means no money to pay for the staff! No revenue ... means: No money to make the necessary purchases. ERGO ... Wrong DJ selection made, as the DJ did not understand week after week to hold guests or by good mouth propaganda new guests in the club location to lure. The discotheque slip thereby unsustainable pay more and more in the red .. and must, ERGO: At some point give up and finally closing and declare bankruptcy. END of the disco So, the Nr1ResidentDJ bears full responsibility for the future of the club: WITH THE MUSIC OF THE DJ, STANDS OR FALLS A CLUB! Today, every resident DJ should be aware of this and not sell himself below value. Because today a lot of club DJs are exploited by the club owners with an outrageous tipping or free drinks as DJ-fee! Today's club operators take advantage of today's DJs absolutely and without shots, by hiring DJs who are making music all night long for 50-150 € just because those DJs are totally unaware of their responsibilities. more than 5 years i was the 1Resident DJ from Disco WayUp. also i was Resident DJ and booking event DJ in much more Clubs : *Octagon *Atlantis *TarmCenterWest *GoldenGate *Amnesia *Pacha *Indigo *Butan *Galaxy ..and other.... in the next year "2019" i have 30 years DJ Experience.
