I just got into dubstep last year and went from there. I started looking for different types and trying to figure out what sounds i liked most. I then discovered my sound and found artists I liked such as jesusdiedfordubstep and borgore. I got into heavy beats and decided I wanted to make some of my own. So i started tweaking and playing around with recordings from my everyday life and i went from there.

K migrated to the U.S on a hot summer in the early nineties and found a new home in Chicago, Illinois. Once settled he began experiencing the night scene and its groovy beats in Chicago, where House music was born. Drawing inspiration from Chicago's own original House Legends Frankie knuckles and Bad Boy Bill. Experimenting as well as outsourcing he became entangled with the different sounds of underground house, electronica, Trance and progressive. He developed and intensified his auditory senses all the while expanding his musical knowledge. Landing a gig was no easy task in this city; Junkie K started his 1st gig at one of the biggest venues in downtown Chicago: Club Zentra, where he began his residency. Shortly after an unexpected opportunity presented itself down in South Florida, and without hesitation K took the new wave to the Sunshine State, where he would start his own record label: "LOUDcity", which gave him the artistical freedom of producing and remixing tracks, shortly after Junkie K released his 1st double CD album: "Miami24" Midnight & Sunrise, which made an apperance on the New Times Magazine March Edition on 2007 and regarded as one of the best house music albums on the market. K has been serving the house music lovers of south florida from Boca Raton to hot spots in Downtown Miami. Spinning outstanding beats at exclusive venues such as Nikki Beach (south beach) , Karu-Y (miami) , Nocturnal (miami), Passions @ The Hardrock Hotel and Casino (Fort lauderdale), Blue martini and 90 degrees (miami), INK and INDRA (south beach). He has also debuted in various local radio stations, brining the best of all music genre cohesively and disembarking records rhythmically one after another. Junkie K keeps on displaying much genuine needed talents in this competitive, fast-paced, and continues to demonstrate to his fans through music that in spite of its complexity, the core of all music is simple and naturally makes hundreds become one. Possessing a quiet, yet unquestionable confidence and karma, Junkie K is sure to leave a unique Footstep everywhere he spins. He is still hungry for new horizons and avidly achieving solid popularity. Junkie K simply put lives and breathes music...
