Originating from sunny Bournemouth town and loving every second of dj life down on the UK South Coast is XJ. A passionate and meticulous dj whose pin point precision mixing, together with sensational tune selection has his crowds up and glued to the dance floor. XJ applies his sharp and seamless style predominantly to Drum & Bass, House, Trance and Hard Dance, but also enjoys the challenge of dabbling in other genres. XJ has had music running through his veins since birth and began getting more closely involved with music at the age of 13 when he picked up the mic and tried his hand at being an mc. After a few years on the mic XJ had the urge to mix and started messing around on a few of his friends decks. He then became a family man at an early age so XJ took some time out from the music scene and in 2005, he finally acquired his own setup. After a couple of years playing his vinyl at every chance he could get, XJ was ready to play out in his home town. He got involved with some local events and played at several Bournemouth hot spots including The Old Fire Station, Empire, Dusk till Dawn and DNA. When XJ attended university in 2010 he met a few like-minded dance music enthusiasts and together they launched their first drum and bass event Fracture in Bournemouth at the club Dusk Till Dawn. After the success of this event XJ’s passion and drive grew and the rest is history. His monthly residency at SoHo has become a regular hot spot for the local, house hungry bar hoppers. In 2017 XJ toured around Ibiza for his debut on the clubbing island, supporting the Parasol Ibiza Tour in association with Darkest Before Dawn Records. In 2018 he took his skills and sound to Ayia Napa as a resident DJ for Ayia Napa House Party hosted by House Party Events, along with house legend Junior Jack and 48 other national and international djs. In 2019 XJ returned to Ayia Napa with House Party Events alongside his fellow residents and up and coming djs Craig Knight, Franky Wah and Hot like Detroit. Next up in June 2019 will be XJs first festival slot, Home Farm Fest in Somerset, followed by his next summer booking at the largest festival in Wales: Logic Festival. The next step for XJ is production so watch this space! With the undying support from his dear friends, the lessons and time they provided helped him succeed in reaching the goal of becoming a performer. After spending many hours, days, weeks, and now years practicing the styles and having much devotion to persist in perfecting the techniques used for live performances Frostbreaks is now leveling the dancefloors in cities across New England and out west! Working with companies such as SCORCHED AM, UNITED TEKNO RECORDS, SEQUENCED RECORDINGS, CAVELABZ ENT, CAFFEINE EVENTS, and Dementia 909 Frostbreaks has proven his technique of bringing a new sound that keeps the dance floor flowing with constant movement. His fondness of all genres from House, Electro, Progressive, Techno, and Minimal has given him the ability to try something new and funky which brings out his own favorite and personal style of Tech House, Funk, Techno, and Tribal blends. Frostbreaks has spun in cities all over MA such as his DJ birthplace of Springfield, Boston, Greenfield, Lowell, Northhampton, and Worcester. Frostbreaks has also performed in many venues in NY, CT, ME, RI, and AZ. His indulgence in underground parties has also brought him around the states for numerous unnamed events, where the vibe is real and the parties can’t get better! Memories made with my chosen family who have supported me throughout this journey know that I wouldn’t be here without all the support over the years! I grew up in Zadar, revealed music very young in the mid 90's, and then begin my interest in electronic music, while at the beginning of 2000s i purchased my first dj equipment and began to investigate the various genres of electronic music, like deep, funky, tech, vocal, disco, soulful and classic house, and from producers who have influenced my choice of music there are: Christian Hornbostel, Marshall Jefferson, Frankie Knuckles, Ronn Carroll, Basement Jaxx, Armand Van Helden, Larry Levan and the entire Chicago house scene and pioneers of house music . Behind me are various residencies in clubs like: GOTHAM club (Zadar), FORUM club (Zadar), LA HABANA beach club (St. Philip and Jacob / Zadar), MAYA pub (Zadar), Zoilo bar (Zadar), SATURNUS disco (Zaton / Zadar) YACHTING bar (Zadar), and collaborated with other clubs: MARASCHINO bar (Zadar), HITCH club (Zadar), Q bar (Zadar), Arsenal (Zadar), Shambala (Zagreb), Mango (Zadar), Carpi More (Biograd), Dali Bar (Zadar), etc. I also worked as a promoter of nightlife and club music on the radio 057 (Zadar). Curently resident dj at Guma bar Zadar.

GroovePunk is a DJ based in West London and the host of 'All About House' - a weekly show live on GrooveLondon Radio every Saturday 4pm - 6pm GMT. After falling in love with House music and buying his first pair of turntables over ten years ago, GroovePunk has played a variety of venues in and around London as well as on a number of Internet radio stations. Growing up just outside London in the mid to late 90s, GroovePunk witnessed the transition from the acid house era of the late 80s/early 90s to the UK/US garage and trance-heavy early 00s.
