My toys ;) Denon DNS 3700 This cd player is the best i've used, very easy to use... I don't really understand why all the dj's only use pioneer...With them i feel the same sensation like the vinyls, and that had no prices.... Vestax PDX-D3 The most expensives turntables in 1997...but i don't regret my choice...In 2012 they are working like the first day... But...to be honest, since i've buy my denon dns, i don't use them anymore...Maybe in the future, if i'll come one day to traktor or serato. Pioneer DJM300 My old mixer...12 years old....little, simple, efficient...and no expensive.... RPDJ 1210... One of the best heaphone (for me ;))...10 years without any problems... Very strong bass...maybe a little too much... In the future.....The project.... Traktor S4 I need to follow the dj "evolution"...That what i'll buy in the next step...

Developed my passion for house music in the late 90's when the genre started gaining momentum in South Africa. It was through the influence of some of South Africa's pioneers of House Music, namely, DJ Christos, Vinny Da Vinci, DJ Fresh, Glen Lewis, DJ Khabzela, Oskido and DJ Monde, to mention just a few. While House Music remains my main music of choice, I have also dabbled with a variety of urban genres, incl. Hip Hop, R&B, Dancehall and UK Funky. House Is Life and i am addicted Been collecting music for 36 years and very proud of my vinyl collection from the 80's/90's. In my opinion the 80's was the best time for music and left me inspired by the great musicians and artists who left a legacy behind and music is still influenced by those heroes. Not afraid to experiment with sounds and always searching the globe for something a little different, and if recent releases don't cater for my needs, then there is always the archives. My Listening Genre's - House, Soulful House, Deep House, Afro House, Jazz House, Latin House, Tribal House, Lounge, Nu-Jazz, Soul, RNB, D&B, Garage, 2 Step. Music has always been my pastime and enjoyed the occasional gigs and live sets, but never really took my passion to the next level. Life is kinda hectic and faded out of the scene for a considerable time but now back to basics doing what i enjoy, pretty serious about my music and hope that i can spread some joy along the way...love peace and prosperity to all. I think music in itself is healing. It's an explosive expression of humanity. It's something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we're from, everyone loves music. Funky Monkey met with electronic music in the late 80's with basic from C64 and soon also started with some easy productions. After getting new equipment in the mid 90's he also started to get contact into the electronic music. He started to produce private trance and progressive tracks in years 1997-2002. After this he got in contact with House Music (This was and still is his biggest love) and started to produce house tracks. Now he's spinning at closed private parties and making exclusive sets to the WWW for people and online Radio stations.
