About 4years ago I started helping one of my friends who did mobile gigs,carrying heavy ass equipment and setting it up.I started playing one or 2 songs while he took a bathroom or any type of break.LOL!The 1 or 2 songs lead to 1 hour sets and eventually doing gigs for him on my own. Not knowing the real technical aspects of DJing and just playing on feel,I got one of the most important pieces of advice at one of the gigs by someone who's name I never asked.He told me understanding beats and bars is one of the most important aspects of DJing. The mixes I will upload are a direct result of this piece of advice! My goals in my DJ career is just to play music that people and mostly I enjoy.

Dear Friends of Music Since I can go, I have been interested in music. I could never save money during my apprenticeship, because I spent everything on new LPs and musicarrangements. Meanwhile a music studio had become from my room, later even a really professional mix studio. Till this day I observe the music scene daily. Little does more joy than good sound to me. In the meantime, I have mixed more than 40000 sound carriers as well as some sampler. Of course you are able to pre-listen on my homepage my newest CDs. However, you can still discover even more.In the 90s I have often worked also as a DJ. I put on in events, in clubs, in radio stations and in roller skate discos. I currently own: Acer Aspire Laptop, VirtualDJ Pro software, American Audio VMS4 x 2, Gemini Executioner Ten mixer, Studiomaster 1200D Amp, 2 x Dual 15" 400W speaker cabs, 1500w Smoke Machine, 2 x Moon Flower type lights, Miracled LED Effect, 4ft Black Light. Deadmau5, Hoxton Whores, DJs from Mars, and many more.. I will update this as I go ;) I started Djing at local pubs/wine bars around 1992, after making friends with a local DJ, who happened to own a nice 4K setup with two CD players and two Technics SL1210Mk2s. I had always had an 'ear' for music, and tended to steer towards Dance/House music not only to play, but also to listen to when going for a night out in one of the Nightclubs in the Midlands. Once I got the hang of the Technics decks (which didn't take long at all), I soon realised that I had started something that I would never be able to stop. And so the story goes... Although I no longer play many nights (apart from private parties etc), I still love mixing, and spend a lot of my time doing private live mixes for friends, and on VirtualDJ Radio. I play live every Friday night from 9-11pm (GMT) so hope to see some of you there soon!! My main influences definitely come from the likes of Deep Dish, Tiesto, Hoxton Whores etc. for styles of music I love to play, while I do keep a close eye on Pete Tong, as he really started the House/Dance revolution on Radio1 many years ago with his weekend show - which got played nice-n-loud as my friends and I were getting ready to go for our big nights out!

Hi I am Danny, I have come in to mixing and producing a bit later in life but have always loved music and have a very ecleptic taste depending on mood and social situation. I start my love of dance at 14 sneeking of to Donny warehouse and Howden then when I reached age The Afterdark at Morley but as the music got Harder I got fluffier and was a big Basic's fan and end my clubbing at the bedrooms leeds and Loco's. Thus my love of House and most forms of it I like a dance and can't bounce any more so now I am a bedroom DJ of 3 years in April
