Being rocked by music to sleep since he was a child, Astropony became a fan of "synthetic" musics and grew up with them. He has been influenced by various music styles, from Disco, New Wave, New Beat to Alternative Rock, and off course by all electronics music pioneers. At the age of 16 he spent his weekends in clubs and bars in a northern French town called Lille and in Belgium, listening and dancing on « Techno » sounds. In 2000, he decides to move behind the decks and spends the next 2 years on a Lille local radio station that specialized in electronics musics: Galaxie He also starts to play in bars, clubs and parties in Paris, Lille and in Belgium. Before the covid situation he played on weekly radio show on different stations such as RPL (Lille- France), Néo Radio (Belgium), ... In 2022, still hosting his weekly show Astropony start to play again in differents gigs, bars and clubs, playing mainly Disco, Nu Disco, House, and things that make people dance.

Not to be confused with MC Fast Eddie (Edwin A Smith), Eddie Scott IS Chicago's ORIGINAL (DJ F@$t EdD!e) a nickname his uncle Nate Scott {deceased} gave him while he helped his uncle DJ a family BBQ on 76th Justine in Chicago. (IE) his uncle took a bathroom break & told Eddie to watch the tables, but Eddie was already 3 songs in. When he returned, Nate called 10 yr old Eddie "Fast OLD Eddie". But shorten it to Fast Eddie, now known as a an old school artist, DJ & musician since July 4,1978. After attending Chicago's famous Mendel H.S. (the bi level) in 1982, Corliss H.S. 1983-85, then finally Hillcrest H.S. in 1988 to obtain his GED, & finally Chicago State University for his 2 Bachelors degrees in Health Administration & Nursing. Eddie moved to East Chicago Heights try out his musical skills with others like him in the area. He ran into a skilled local DJ in the next building who wanted him to become one of the original members of a deejay group called "The Housemasters" (along with Rockin' Reggie (Harris), Corey (Rogers), Ellery (Cowles) followed by solo spots & playing drums for various bands. On April 7, 2011 he married his soulmate Deatrice Ivory. A very professional and popular Chicago DJ and musician who has been in the business SINCE July 4,1978, who's looking for a residency in a extremely popular club, either in Chicago, Las Vegas or Los Angeles. DJ RICHIE RICH 1 I have been a DJ for years now thanks to my mum and dad as they were DJ,s Mike K and Linda K and Sandy B of Barbarella Disco when they were younger. I used to go with them to the pubs and clubs of Southampton from the pub the Queens where I used to DJ, so i have grown up with music and being a DJ in my life. I have been on a pirate station called peoples choice radio station 25 years ago that's where I picked up my DJ name from but had to change it a bit because of main bad boy DJ Richie Rich. Iv been on a few other internet stations over the past 3 years in Southampton which was set up again peoples choice radio station and then dirty soundz FM all internet based.
