i've been a dj for as long as i can remember.if my memory serves me correct i had my first pair of turntables when i was 16 or 17 but i was cutting and editing hip hop from a single turntable onto a tape deck from the age of about 11 or 12 which i didnt realise at the time was the start of my mixing and djing career,i guess it was always in my blood.back in those days it was beastie boys and public enemy that was my genre of choice but that evolved into house music in the late 80's and early 90's with the arrival of acid house and breakbeat.my youth was spent in st.albans which had a massive influence on me musically in my teenage years and owe alot of my experience and taste in music to.from attending the civic and pioneer under 18 club nights where i first heard the likes of inner city,mr fingers, fast eddie and a huge array of house music as it was then and hadn't fragmented into the hundreds of genres and styles as we know it today.by the time i was 18 i had my technic 1210mk 2 decks but had dropped out of college to pursue my music career after being offered a job in the local dance music store in luton"soul sense",which i owe alot of my success as a dj to as it opened doors and created opportunities which i'm certain wouldn't hace been available otherwise.my first dj gigs were at batchwood hall in st.albans as a resident dj warming up for the likes of grooverider and kenny ken which if i'm honest frightenend the shit out of me as i'd never played on a big sound system before let alone been in the company of these legendary pioneers and djs.i managed to hold it together well enough to continue playing there for about a year before things moved on for me and my tastes evolved into a more 4 to the floor style and i ended uo landing a residency for iq2(ultra vegas) at the sanctuary, miton keynes.i spend 2 happy years there playing alongside carl cox, paul oakenfold, ian ossia, john digweed to name but a few before i came back to the luton area and took up a residency at legends, luton.i was resident there for 7 or 8 years before the club was bought out by luminar leisure and changed its name to the beach but continued to play there as resident until it eventually closed its doors  a few years ago.i have held long standing residencies which i am proud of and am still the residing dj at the brewery tap in luton, club veeda in st.albans,a regular for ultra vegas and run my own night in hitchin with my 2 partners in crime dj syuss and dj paks.apart from the residencies i have played in countless clubs an and around the home counties aswell as many venues in london.my only regret is that i didn't set my goals higher and play abroad which has been offered on a few occasions.i dabble in house music production and have had radio support of my remix of knee deep"home".i also promoted a very successful night at bellini nightclub in luton regularly but like all good things the have to come to an end.the music industry is a fickle business and you have to see it for what it is.......just be yourself...................

Sold my turntables 2001 when i knocked the djing on the head. Decided to invest in some Numark Cd mixing decks in 2008. No-where near as good as the techniks but beggars can't be choosers. Anything and everything. All the above mentioned and much much more. Started Djing Back in 1991 when the Old school /Jungle Era peaked. First tune that done it for me was Terminator on chill records closely followed By death row -Justice. The music then evolved into slightly faster beats as we hit the dreamscape days. Living in darkness, (basement records) the Edge and ;give a little love-nookie on reinforced records. happy days!! Still dont believe the music can ever be as good as them days . Here's hoping though. Some excellent house out there though mind you!! Where do i start??Into any genre of music really. As long as it's well produced and not too cheesy. Hip hop, House and Jungle. If i had to choose a preference, i would say overall it is old school Jungle. That's where my roots lie.
