DJ JD has spent the past two decades building an impressive resume by immersing himself in the club and private event sectors. He developed his love of DJ’ing through the versatile musical influences whilst growing up. He couldn't wait to get behind the decks and put into practice what he had learned. Starting his career as a DJ rocking the house parties back in Johannesburg - South Africa, he explored various styles and genres with a focus on dance, hip hop and RnB. JD began creating his own fusion of house and party vibes for clubs and private venues whilst executing demands of the dance floors. From weddings to clubs and cocktail bars to private events JD ignites his passion for music and sounds from the far reaches of the globe. His adolescent years were spent challenging the resident DJs of well established night clubs to DJ battles where he gained a wealth of experience and knowledge of reading the crowds. With an extensive music collection ranging from golden oldies to the latest pop and charts and with subscriptions to record labels JD is able to keep his music repertoire fresh and current. JD believes the most important thing when playing is that his sets must be fun, getting a crowd going by playing popular songs fused with versions people necessarily haven’t heard before, capturing the imagination of the dance floor. JD has been fortunate enough to play at some of London’s and the south east’s most prestigious venues, his love of music is apparent in his enthusiasm and perfection in his work. Edit

For over two decades, I've immersed myself in the world of DJing as a passionate hobbyist. While I've never felt the urge to turn it into a full-fledged career, the joy of music and the opportunity to share it with others has remained my driving force. Throughout the years, I've explored various DJing styles, from the classic charm of vinyl to the versatility of digital platforms, and even delved into the immersive realm of VR. Your enjoyment of my mixes means the world to me, and any feedback you offer is sincerely valued. Thank you for tuning in, and I hope you find delight in the beats I share. Cheers! :) Equipment: Numark Mixtrack Platinum FX, Gemini BPM1000 Mixer, Gemini SA600 Vinyl Decks x2, Pioneer CMX3000 Dual CD Decks, PC Software: Serato, Sony Sound Forge 8, Virtual DJ, Cue PlayDJ for iPhone, Tribe XR for HTC Vive. Ceynte Hoode (aka m5v): From radio to elite events, club residencies, co-publishing and writing for music tabloids, Producer/DJ Michael St. Vincent has faded in and out of New York's underground like some phantom legend for a very long time.

i started djing at 16 after months of begging the parents for months to buy me some 1210s,which i still use today going strong.my passion in music has to be old school piano, retro and vocal funky house if you cant sing to it then its no good lol.in the early nineties i started going clubbing, and for me to this day was the best for music.when i first got my 1210s i had no intension of djing in clubs it was just a hobby for and for my own enjoyment.i was actually tricked by a fellow dj and good friend who was already djing in clubs, when he phoned me up one thurday night and said he was ill and needed me to help him out and play at a bar for him,to which i found out later it was actually a dj competition to which he entered me and to my surprise i won to which the prize was residency at bradfords biggest dance club which pulled 700 to 800 in every friday and saturday night,my first night djing in the club was christmas eve which was packed out and i was shitting it,it was a big difference mixing some tracks in the bedroom and then to bid audience but i absolutely loved it and was hooked, and so my djing career was born. within the first year things went from strength to strength playing in numerous clubs all over yorkshire and holding down residencys and playing alongside some of the biggest names in the country (alister whitehead,k klass, paul taylor just to name a few) i was more known as a dj for my old school sets and so i was made a resident for retro which took me to ibiza djing at eden and loved every minute. in the mid 2000s i began working with a fellow dj (adam g) at a place called bar me which was just a bar not a club, but in the first 6 months playing there the profits soared 700% and went from a free bar and having to pay in on the door,so we sat down and thought were on to a winner here and decided to brand our own night and event, and so worship was born. our brand of night went from strength to strength holding down rooms at space, gatecrasher, visage and ethios, garlands and many more,we even ended up with our own radio show on a friday night on dvm radio (dance vinyll masters). i think the reason our night worked so well was because we didnt brand it as one style of music it was straight across the board,if it was a classic then it got played. in 2008 we decided to pull the brand as we both wanted to persue over interests,i decided to take a break from djing as it got to a stage where i stopped enjoying it and felt more of a chore going to work instead of doing something i loved. so now im back, loving my music more then ever and back on the scene :-)

Music has been at the centre of my life for as long as I can remember and im confident to say its shaped who I am today. From a very young age I was very much into Syththesized music , especially Jean Michelle Jarre (one of my all time heroes). Along side this I loved early electro house and Detroit techno so naturally , was blown away with the late 80’s acid house explosion and even more so by the early 90’s Rave explosion, and this is where my passion really set in. I first went on a pair of decks at the tender age of 9 years old (1991), and around this time got 1xdeck for Christmas, now….clearly you don’t have to be a dj to understand that this is useless for mixing, but, for beatmatching, this was the best thing you could imagine! Id beatmatch vinyls to tapes,or anything that was playing in the house, and by the time I got my 2nd deck and mixer at 12years old, the learning curve of beatmatching was already mastered! Now, musically , im predominantly Hardcore, always have been, from early breakbeat hardcore right through to todays sounds. Ive loved the evolution of the sound and have the same passion for the sound as I did 20 years ago. Trance was a major influence for me in the 90’s too , especially Paul Oakenfold/Sasha/Digweed to name a few….their ability to seamlessly blend tracks together over the course of an hour or so and leave me feeling like id been on a musical journey really inspired me and applied this same technique to everything I mixed. Today, I concentrate mainly on Uk Hardcore and Hard dance, which while im “here” must mention how impressed and inspiring I find hard dance at the mo , from the techy minimal sounds right through to the tough hardstyle sounds of Europe, I feel this scene has got a lot to offer and has something for everyone. Im loving the Hard dance scene as a whole at the moment, whether it be Breakbeats/Kickdrums/trancey/ravey/techy/fast/slow…..the scene in my eyes is as diverse as its ever been, whatever others may think! Music is a way of life!
