My passion for electronic music is rooted in the late eighties, when I was fascinated by the music from bands like Depeche Mode, Front 242 and Nitzer Ebb. Influenced by the sound of the 90s and the clubs such as Aufschwung Ost (later Stammheim) in Kassel and the Omen in Frankfurt, I started dj-ing at the end of the 90s. I have played in a few clubs and locations. After a temporary break i currently only play for myself, with friends and sometimes at smaller parties. Started to mix/produce music back in the days when 'Yo MTV raps' was still hot. Abusing my brothers equipment i soon discovered that i really enjoyed playing around with synths/drums and getting the most out of the small amount of hardware i had available. After 'Hardcore' house (Gabber) exploded in the Netherlands i started to focus on mixing more and more. With 2 old cd-players with no pitch-control and a mixer with no EQ, i already enjoyed mixing the few records that were equal in BPM. After buying two old technics turntables WITH pitchcontrol and the 1st vinyl, i was sure about my love for mixing/music! From that point on, i have been working on my own unique sound and my setup to get the most out of the music. Now i am setup with a nice Xone:42, 2 Native Intstruments X1's and maschine and a UC33e. It's been a while... Almost forgot about this site. Guess it's time to update and drop some new stuff! I'm a 90's kid.
