His residency at the Polo Club in the mid-80s to early 90s was unmatched by any other Friday and Saturday nights. Metro Beatz also known as 'LC' orginally from Lawrence, Ma has a long history & career in music since the mid 80s starting with his first rap group 'The Fresh Express - Stop (Before You Get Started)' which was a local hit in Greensboro, NC then scored an underground rap hit in 1990 with his group 'Mind Over Matter - Invisible Enemy' Soon after, Metro Beatz would move to Atlanta in 1990 working with several upcoming R&B & Hip artist, working at records stores, spinning at clubs in Atlanta and spinning mixtapes eventually collaborating with Chris Brann from Wamdue Kids, he caught the bug for House music, relocated to South Florida spinning on Miami's number one station Hot 105, spinning celebrity parties and released his first solo House music project on Terrence Parker's 'Parker MusicWorks Label' in 2008. Currently Metro Beatz now releases fresh new House Music on his own imprint 'Music Of Class' through Symphonic Distribution. I grew up loving music since i was a kid,i listen to all sorts of music,my genre that i like most is old skool,r&b,soulfull house,funky house,jazz,reggae anything goes.I do most mixes for people to enjoy and share and really try to keep it simple and clean as possible.I also have youtube channes called Dj funky Joe..so check it out...i try to load my mixes on youtube to share with followers....
