This Dutch electronic music producer from the Netherlands is producing even more and more sounds these days. He started with his first hardware device, a Roland MC-303, after listening to the sounds of albums like Turn Up The Bass, Goa Trance and all the others. and soon after that he found his way to software section, Logic 4. Now we are getting somewhere to produce those powerful beats. Simple beats and riffs to start with and later making a first arrangement based on factory samples that everybody used due to the lack of powerful instruments. Everything from sync to channel 1-16 had to be learned to get knowledge of the system to produce the sounds that he is producing these days with the power of WAVE, MIDI and AU. Nowdays he's still working on mastering the sounds, to get the best track that software can offer today.

My passion for dance music kick started in 88 thanks to the new sounds that was House Music. I am pleased to have been a part of the original rave scene and the heady weekend cruises to find illegal raves in obscure farms, fields and industrial buildings. Not only that, but the great Sterns / Mansion House was right on my doorstep, there were some crazy nights, awesome DJ's, deep arse bass, and a lightly drippy ceiling (if you went, you know what I mean). As a poor student, I cut my teeth mixing using Soundlab DLP3's before growing up into Technics, then Vestax PDX D3, which knocked the spots off the Techs, then Stanton STR8's. These days the vinyl and decks stay in the loft as I ported over to using M-Audio Xponent and AVID Torq2. So over the years, my musical styles have changed little, I still love Old School House, Hard/Hip House, Acid, Trance and a decent mashup. Insight over, back to the music.

2006 (17 Jahre alt) entdeckte Klangeffekt (Jan B) seine Liebe zur "elektronischen Tanzmusik", welche derzeit noch recht breit gefächert war.Mit 18 Jahren dann, reichte ihm das "hören" allein nicht mehr aus.Das erste Mischpult inkl. "Start-Paket" wurde angeschafft, um als Home DJ seine ersten Erfahrungen an den Decks zu sammeln und seine eigenen Gigs zu produzieren. Anfangs war "Klangeffekt" nur auf privaten Feiern zu finden,doch "Klangeffekt" verstand es durch seine intensive Leidenschaft zur Musik mehr und mehr sein Publikum für seinen Style zu begeistern und in Extase zu versetzen.2011 spielte er seine ersten "offiziellen Sets" auf den verschiedensten Tanz-Wiesen des Rhein/Main/Neckar- Gebiets. Bedroom remixer, been mixing since early 80's, then moved onto remixing with an Atari 1040, an Akai S950 and editing on 1/4" tape....I now use Reason, just like using old hardware, love the wiring :) Favourite DJ's/remixers are Peter Slaghuis, Tony DeVit, Paul Dakeyne, Max Mix Team, Raul Orellano, Chris Lucas & Rod Warren, Mark Andrews, Sanny X, just to name a few.
