A quiet guy who is always happy, smiling, and laughing, but when it comes to music, this guy’s is not silent and definitely makes no jokes. Koena Phetheho Sello, better known as Phex The Reel Musik, is a Software Developer, DJ, Event Organiser, and a Real Music fan, and student. Originally hailing from a small rural town called Qwa Qwa in the Free State, Phex is now living in Pretoria. His music interests includes Jazz, Underground Hip Hop/Rap, Soul/Neo Soul/R&B, Instrumentals, Downtempo, Ambient, and Deep House, which is influenced by various artists, DJs, and producers from all over the world. As it says in the alias, Phex likes, studies, and plays Real Music (Reel is the homophone of Real and Musik means Music in German). “Real Music has true rhythm, harmony, texture, temperature, instrumentation, melody, dynamic, form, warmth, real genres, and it is well- constructed” – Phetheho Phex Sello.
