WAREHOUSE-PARTY-GENERATION
WAREHOUSE-PARTY-GENERATION

WPG & HARDCORE UPROAR is run by some of the original warehouse party organisers. WPG has been running old skool events for the last 8 years. Over that time we have worked very hard to make our night stand out from the rest! We keep the vibe alive by playing what was played at the 89 to 91 warehouse parties. We are now in our 6th year and we're planning to move forward to give you that slice of the past when only the party mattered... Peace :)

Listening to mix tapes from the likes of Neuro, Jooce, Danza, Zone and Fever, ultimately inspired me to become a DJ. I began buying records, even though I had no turntables, and began itchin’ it up on my mum’s hi-fi turntable…. Soon I was “king of the one deck mix” and thought it time to further my DJ skills. At 13 I grafted all summer holidays to get myself some decks… belt drives…Aaargh!!! As you can imagine my skills didn’t improve much until I got my first pair of Technics. Some practice later I began Djing at friends parties etc. In 1998 (aged 17) I entered an advertised competition for bedroom DJ's on a local dance radio station called Splash FM. Play-offs were held with a total of 30 DJ's in all. Each set played was to be an hour long live on radio! I came 1st and won the title of “Best Bedroom DJ in the Fylde Coast”, which soon led to a residency at Zone in 1999. A rapid interest was shown in my abilites and began playing in venues all over the UK. Soon I was to join forces with 3 of the North West's greatest DJ’s Andy Pendle, Rikkee & Steven Jay. We began to promote our own night called FOREPLAY (2000- present). Definately the most innovative Hard House & Trance night around, and proudly pioneers of the underground “bounce” scene which is prominent today. Aswell as promting our FOREPLAY nights around the UK we started to produce our own tunes (FOREPLAYERS - CHEMICAL CREW - CODE 3) which achieved recognition in the bounce scene with plays all over clubland. Currently we are working on all genres of dance music, bounce, hardhouse, hardcore, breaks & electro house + some random stuff! Im especially devoted to Rave Breaks at the moment - dj'ing & producing - can't get enough of it! Total oldskool roots combined with modern production - pianos - breakbeats & rave style vocals - awesome! Check out my stuff - AKA- WHY?TEE - WHO?DLUM RECORDINGS (myspace.com/whyteeproductions) ; THE PRODIGY - SL2 - 2 BAD MICE - SLY T & OLLIE J - DJ SS - GROOVERIDER - ACEN - THE TIME FREQUENCY - Q-TEX - CARL COX - TOM WILSON - ULTRA SONIC - MOBY - LIQUID - CUBIC 22 - BASS RATE - DREAM FREQUENCY - RAMOS - SUPREME - SUNSET RAGIME - JOHN J - MATT BELL - CHRIS BAKER - ANDY PENDLE - LIQUID CRYSTAL - SY-KICK - PETE MONSOON & GARY DREAMWURX - STEVE MURANO - FAR TOO LOUD - SLIPMATT - JUNKI MUNKI - RECKLESS - ROBBIE LONG - STORMTROOPER - SY - UNKNOWN - CUT & RUN - CRISP BISCUIT - MC IRIE - ROXANNE SHANTE - SALT N PEPA - NWA - ICE T - PLAN B - REBEL MC - YOUNG MC - DJ TRIX - Q-BERT - NENEH CHERRY

The mixes that are uploaded on here fall into these categories: PEACHY - a blend of new and recent vocal house grooves with lots of soul and flavours of jazz, funk and disco, together with various recent radio shows with similar playlists. As from 2017, I host a monthly show, as part of Collective Souls, on Boogie Bunker Radio. REPLAY - Old Skool house circa 1988 to 1993 – mainly Italo piano house with a few UK and USA flavours recorded from 2005 to the present day. I always like playing tunes from that era that are unknown or never played in the UK when released. It satisfies my craving to break `new` tunes – even though many are now around 20 years old. I also own a small record label by this name that specialises in legally reissuing Italian piano house classics.

Bassline House/Speedgarage/Oldskool/Piano & Italian Synth Spinning since the late 90's. Lost most of my mixes from this site so I'm working on re-uploading them all & bringing the page back to how it was. Stay Tuned! Started off as a bedroom DJ back in the mid to late 90's. Early influences were the ZONE in Blackpool, Dreamscape then I slid down the Helter Skelter and landed in the Trance era where I bought my first Soundlab belt drive decs, Soon to be replaced by 1210s then CDJs many years later. Started off on Happy Harcore & Oldskool/Italian synth then Trance/Hardhouse into the Bassline, Speedgarage/4x4 then back to the OldSkool where my passion is 😊. I lost my very long Bio so I'll update this as well at some point 😎

Greenbins
Greenbins

Greenbins career as a DJ stretches right back to warehouse parties that brought about a cultural revolution in the North of the UK in the late 80s and early 90s. He was a regular DJ at those parties, and also a resident DJ at a small, but legendary club in Blackburn called Monroes in 1990-91. From Monroes other residencies and guest spots soon followed at venues such as Sequins, Zone and Jooce in Blackpool, Angels in Burnley, Manhattan Heights and Peppermint Place in Blackburn, Quadrant Park in Liverpool, Revenge Parties, Blackburn warehouse parties, 808 State Show on Sunset FM, Maximes in Wigan, Manhattans in Southport to name just a handful. Greenbins was also an original resident DJ on Friday nights with DJ Welly at the Pleasuredrome, and was also to feature heavily when the night was moved to Trafford Park and became Life @ Bowlers. I first started taking an interest in dj'in around 1998 when I was into bouncy house & trance. I often visited a place called the Tram Shed in Halifax which was run by Pete Monsoon. Over the years I watched others mixing and soon picked it up, thus starting my addiction to vinyl. In 1999 I was introduced to the sounds of oldskool house and was hooked from the off. I have since narrowed down my own particular favourite genre - Italian house music for which I have to give thanks to one of the best teachers of the genre I have come across Rich Law AKA Vinylanimal who not only introduced me to italian house but taught me a lot.  Over the years have built up a nice tidy collection. I enjoy a mix of both dj'in and chasing that illusive rare piece of vinyl. Relentlessly searching for unknown obscure italian gems to feed my ever increasing addiction. Over the years I have been lucky enough to dj at some of the north west of Englands most popular events and venues. I am part of a group of friends who love italian house and oldskool music called 'Mash House Productions' feel free to give our mixcloud and youtube page a visit www.mixcloud.com/mashhouse_productionswww.youtube.com/mashhouse

I bought my 1st set of decks in 93..and still have em! :) DJ'd at friends partys and once at BAR PERU bolton waaay bk in 96.... Frequented many of the great clubs in the 90's starting with PLEASUREDROME in farnworth then WIGAN PIER & MAXIMES in wigan, followed LIFE to the mighty BOWLERS,aswell as KINETIC,SHELLYS, and some mint allnighters VISION 93. Put out my raving shoes to pasture in 96,when in my opinion..it all went down hill and lost the 'VIBE' :( The revival of the 'oldskool scene' has got me back into the music that i sadly lost contact with for a few yrs, aswell as breakbeat and nu-rave. Slowly getting into buying vinyl again after a 2-3yr gap of only playing mp3's and loving the challenge. My mixes aint perfect...but hope you enjoy them all the same. My set up- TECHNICS 1200'S BEHRINGER DJX700 mixer. Old and new mixes will be posted as i have loads on soundcloud,mediafire,4shared yaada yaada..all comments welcome, good n bad lol thanks :)
