Developed my passion for house music in the late 90's when the genre started gaining momentum in South Africa. It was through the influence of some of South Africa's pioneers of House Music, namely, DJ Christos, Vinny Da Vinci, DJ Fresh, Glen Lewis, DJ Khabzela, Oskido and DJ Monde, to mention just a few.   While House Music remains my main music of choice, I have also dabbled with a variety of urban genres, incl. Hip Hop, R&B, Dancehall and UK Funky. It was through Urban music where I had the opportunity to DJ at some of the South Coast's popular nightclubs.   I currently run a series of mixtapes, namely, South Africa Deep series, Stebo Goes Deep series and the seasonal Soulful and Jazzy House series. I also host a weekly show on Deeplomatikk Radio on Wednesdays 10pm - midnight.   Welcome on board and hope you will enjoy this deep musical journey with me.   Website: www.djstebo.com Twitter: @djstebo051 Facebook Page: DJ Stebo DJ Christos (SA), Vinny Da Vinci (SA), Black Coffee (SA), Culoe de Song (SA), DJ Fresh (SA), Lars Behrenroth, Ralf Gum, Halo, Kelvin K, Dplay, Samantha James, Stephanie Cooke, Bucie, Stephanie Mills, Jesus Gonsev, Jimpster, Jay Tripwire, Tamara Wellons, Rocco, Manoo, Fabrizio Ortella.....and many many more, you should get the picture by now.

Craig AKA Wilson Frisk hails from Bradford, Yorkshire in the north of England. Like many other Dj's Wilson started his musical journey collecting music as a young teenager doing compilations for his friends. In 1994 Wilson started a music fanzine called 'Jackyard Backoff' with his late friend Chris Stephenson which covered the music scene in the north of England. Around 1995 Wilson became involved with a very successful club night called 'Spice' which was his first stint at Dj'ing playing Broken Beat, Acid Jazz, Hip Hop, Soul and jazz. Although Wilson had listened and collected plenty of House music, he didnt become a full on House Dj til around 1998. Since then Wilson has firmly established himself in the House music scene holding down residencies in Bradford, Leeds and Huddersfield and been involved with infamous club nights such as Back2Funky, Uno House, Our House, Afro Coalition, Way2Funky, Wallop, GYGO and The House Of Phunk. Currently Wilson is one of the Boombox Stereo residents who play at the mighty BeatHearder Festival and part of the 4Playdjs Collective who play at the Solfest Festival in Cumbria. Recently Wilson has also turned his hand to production and is one half Of The Krate Diggaz along with Rich T who are signed to Disco Filter Records and Black Rain Records, with current releases on Traxsource.com .. Wilson is known for his smooth mixing style, taking you on a musical journey dipping in and out of all genres of House music but keeping it in his Soulful, Funky style that he renowned for! You can now catch Wilson on PCR (Peoples city radio) peoplescityradio.co.uk/ every other Wednsday night 6 til 8pm UK with his show 'HouseBound' which has been firmly running for 4 years now, playing all things House, with regular guests.....Keep The Faith!

Mixing House Music - the Alan Mckenzie Way House Music hit me like a runaway train in the late 1980s. I'd never been much of a clubber up until about 1987, when I was persuaded to go out clubbing a couple of times with friends. While there were some good tunes around at the time - I'm thinking of "Word Up!" by Cameo and "Let it All Blow" by Dazz Band - it was the first time I heard "Pump Up the Volume" by M|A|R|R|S that pulled me into the House Music scene. So, suddenly I was in London's Limelight every week, waving my arms about to the all the early House tunes like "Let's Get Brutal" by Nitro DeLuxe and "House Nation" by The HouseMaster Boyz. Acid House came and went and I bought my first pair of decks, some fairly dodgy Citronic belt-driven jobs. By 1992 I'd upgraded to a pair of Technics and had been DJing parties for my mates in all kinds of strange places. Once we took over a railway arch in London Bridge. The locals (two of them) complained, but as it was a one-off party, they let us off with some minor grumbling. There were other parties, then around 1997, I briefly ran a night at a small club in Hackney. It wasn't a great success, but we did have a laugh doing it. These days, I maintain I'm too old and too grumpy to be faffing around with record decks at three in the morning. I still manage to hobble along to a club every so often and I make a point of keeping up with the music. But technology is also a big part of what I do, and I've found it's a great deal less frustrating to put together mix CDs using my Macintosh and ProTools, than it is to mix tunes together "live". Some CDs I've mixed recently >> Some tunes I'm looking for >>

I started the clubs scene during the 1980s and I was influenced by soul- disco, the freewheeling Jaz funk scene, emerging house, hip-hop styles and Latin . I went to my very first Southport weekender in the early 90's and then I became hooked with the house scene and I bought my first decks and started to play sets in the underground clubs and parties. I was a Part of largest pirate radio station in yorkshire sharing my passion for Funk soul- US Garage & soulful house. Thats history and this is now... I have been off the scene for a while now as family is my priorty but I do the odd gigs playing private parties and guest djing for friends.Peace & love to all the lovers who have soul in their hearts!! dj-andy-bee Deep n Soulful House Podcast  http://minicasts.podomatic.com/play/977856/4016971
