I was born 49 years ago and have been close to music since childhood. As a young man, I decided I wanted to become a DJ. **My professional start** came in 1993. That’s when I fully committed to mixing and creating music for discos and club events. My distinctive style and energetic performances quickly won me popularity, and I gradually became a familiar face in the local club circuit. **During my career**, I had the amazing opportunity to travel and perform on various stages. These experiences enriched me immensely, not just musically but also as a person. I learned to feel the crowd’s energy, and my mixing skills became my trademark, propelling me to the top of the local DJ scene. **After years spent in the prime of my career**, I felt in 2008 that it was time for a change. DJ Kidd Kurrupt was born on Dec 8,1987 in LaPlata Maryland.At the tender age of ten I started dj'ing for the very first time in June 1,1998 at a underground reggea bashment an after my first gig I was hooked. I found out at a young age that I had a ear for music and a talent for mixing differnt genres of music like old school hip hop,reggae, and funk. My father was a DJ at the time also and he noticed that I was practicing on the turntables every chance that I got. My father started me off with a few gigs on saturdays at local block parties during the summer time.After a few gigs I started to make a name for myself in the neighborhood as the young kidd that can put it down on the turntables. A few years went by and I, DJ Kidd Kurrupt started to get more shows and a large following in the underground reggeaton scene and techno raves. I soon started to draw hundreds of people to my live sets. One day I met a club promoter while networking at a local mall, the two exchanged numbers and I, DJ Kidd Kurrupt invited him out to watch him perform at a show. When the club promoter saw the way I showed my skills, worked the crowd, and my ablilities with mixing and scratching; he decided to give me- this young and upcoming DJ a chance to spin at one of the biggest dance clubs in Maryland at the time. I play all forms of trance music like uplifting trance, vocal trance,progressive trance and psy trance.I also play wide variety of music such as oldschool/newschool Hiphop, R&B, Soul, Nu-Soul, Funk, Oldies electro, dubstep, Rap, Underground Hiphop, Reggae, Culture Reggae, Dancehall, Soca, Culipso, Ragga, Ragga Jungle, tech house and technomusic. Im zarten Alter von 11 Jahren erkennt er seineLiebe zur Musik, die ihn fortan vorantrieb. Erste kleine Gigs alsTeenager DJ lassen nicht lange auf sich warten. Seine Musik war zudieser Zeit eine wilde Mischung aus Rock, NDW, und Wave. Nasty´s weg führte ihn letztendlich mit einem Zwischenstopp in der Hip Hop Scene zur Elektronischen Musik, daran kann man gut erkennen das er, was Musik angeht, sehr aufgeschlossen ist und dadurch auch eine immense Erfahrung hat was das Auflegen betrifft. Vonder Strasse weg wird Kristijan in Landshut's Dj Center von PatrickBotterau aka Dj Captain Funk, Mitbegründer von Ex - Kiss FM und Ex -Jam Fm Berlin, seinem Förderer und Mentor ausgebildet. Diesererkannte sein Talent früh und verpasste ihm den nötigenFeinschliff. Nacheiner längeren gesundheitstechnischen und künstlerischen Schaffenspause, wurde Kristijan erst im Ausland wieder tätig. Seit2009 ist er Resident DJ im Nemo Beach in Ohrid, einer wunderschönen Beach Open Air Location mit Blick auf den glasklaren Ohridsee. Dort findet unter anderem ein jährliches Festival stat, bei dem er als Warm up DJ für großen wie David Morales, Paul Oakenfold, Roger Sanchez, Tom Novy, Sandy Rivera, Milk & Sugar und vielen mehr zum Einsatz kam. Durch harte Arbeit ist es ihmgelungen, weit über die regionalen Grenzen von Mazedonien bekannt zuwerden. Zahlreiche Festival, Club, Radio und Fernsehauftritte zieren seinen stetigen Weg. Auch als Radio DJ geht Kristijan seit 2013 mit seinen wöchentlichen Radioshow's bei 97,0 Supreradio Ohrid FM ( Music for the Soul ) und bei Confetti Digital London on Air. In seiner Sendung "It´s Global "präsentiert er neben diversen Newcomer und Local DJ´s auch renommierte Künstler wie z.B. Eddie Amador. Den Draht und die Connections zur Heimat wusste er immer wieder zu Nutzen. So ist er auch seit 2015 ein Mitglied bei EMN ( Electronic Music Network Essen- Germany ) einer hiesigen Booking Agentur. Eines seiner Highlight inden letzen Jahren, war eine Interaktion mit Skywalker FM, mit Künstlern wie Letkolben, Da Hool, Natalie de Bora und Taucher. 2016 fand er schließlich durch das Booking von Mathew Brabham und Nic Pannie´r zu City of Drums, seinem heutigen Record Label. In dem er eine Professionelle Platform fand, um sich und seine Werke in Zukunft präsentieren zu können!

I started DJing in 1994, first playing Old Skool, then moving into the current music scene. Over the years I played many different styles, covering a broad range in music. My first gigs were a residency at a pub in Preston, Xstream, playing lots of different music from my collection. My first club gig was a one-off event held at Preston's University, Heavens Gate. I then played several times at The Mill, again in Preston. Musically moving into the Hard Dance scene in 2000 I managed to get a gig at Sundisential North, Leeds, in the Members Suite. From there I played a few gigs at NRG, Chorley and then at Fired-Up, Wigan for the same promoter. I also played at the Sinergy Testlab, Manchester and a couple of times for BPM Radio, Birmingham. My DJ career changed significantly when I secured gigs in London for Smile and Wildchild. I also came 2nd in a DJ competition at Toast, Manchester. From there I secured more gigs at Wildchild, Frantic, Liberation Vs Hardware, Rush and Smile, London. My final gig was in 2004 at Velocity, Wisbech. I have only recently took to the decks again, although now it is just for enjoyment, using the records in my collection.
