Started DJing in 1987 with the all-time standard Technics 1200's along with a Numark mixer. I soon discovered the beauty of mixing on a rotary mixer (Urei 1620) a few years later. As the years past, I started trying and eventually moving through various rack mountable dual CD players and then CD turntables including Denon DN2000, DN9000, DN5000's, Technic DZ1200's, and of course CDJ-1000's. I switched from my Urei 1620 mixer to a Pioneer DJM-800 (and added the rotary kit). With regards to software, I started using Serato in 2007 but once I used Traktor I switched and haven't looked back.

Since getting a pair of decks a year ago as a new hobby, I've learnt that mixing is not just a hobby. After that penny dropped, I've branched out from House, to Progressive & Balearic Trance, Electro and PsyTrance. Thanks to the heavens for the music I say. Having graduated from The Egg (808) DJ Academy, I have played in various venues in London, recently ventured over to Calgary, and now am turning my sights to other parts of the world. It's all about the music when your talkin about him DJ RC has established himself as a DJ. Inspired by his older sister, he started DJ'ing using cassette decks at the age of 12. At the age of 18, he bought his first Technics 1200 and never looked back ever since. Having such a passion for music and turntablism, he would lock himself in his room for days just practicing and practicing without sleep until his fingers bled. He observed and studied the techniques of DJs like Kid Capri, DJ Scratch, and Stretch Armstrong, to name a few. After studying their techniques and practicing each and every day, he developed his own techniques, his own sound, and his own style. A big influence on him was the Latin Rascals, inspiring him to mix records in a way everyone thought was impossible; that taught him to be open minded (meaning DJ RC is not limited to just one genre of music, if it sounds good, he's for it). Other inspirations included DJ AM and Kenny Dope. Since DJ RC started, he has done parties for Marc Anthony, Jermaine Dupri, Shyne, 112, and Jadakiss. Some places that he DJ'd at in the city were Canal Room, Shine, Downtime, Essos, Flow, Deep, Club NY, Flamingos. He also DJ'd in Jersey as well at Deko Lounge,Tropicanas, Millennium, Luna Lounge,Micheal Anthonys and 88 Keys. It doesn't stop there though; he's also DJ'd in Florida at Nikki Beach, Opium, and Groove Jet.

Hello music lovers, I would now briefly take the time to introduce myself to you, so you know who you're dealing with. I'm Manixx in thirty-five years and has been on the scene of action. In the first years of my DJ time I've had it with the old Rock `n` Roll from the 50 `s 60` s to do. Then came the beat, soul, blues and Pop and Rock. Then I worked for years with House, Chill, Trance and Funk what really inspired me to this day. Here I found a new soul of rhythm and create my mix with lots of love and passion in their own stems. Even if the one and the other does not like my music, I think that's normal, because man can not make it so right for everyone. Each has its own soul and cloud hovers on it.
