I began my DJ career at age 16 with one of my dad's belt drive turntables, a friend's belt drive turntable and a $90 Gemini mixer. I later got a set of 1210s and a a real mixer and went for it! In college my friend DJ Atom and I began the Ill Communications production company and started throwing raves in Santa Cruz and The SF Bay Area. I spent 5 years as the DJ for the seminal San Francisco Metal/Hip Hop band Zeromind. Playing with a live band gave me a respect for pitch and phrasing that most DJs don't have a need for. I was regularly "playing" along with the band in key with guitar samples and sound effects. Soloing on stage to hundreds of people as part of a rock band is something I will probably never replicate. Since then I have moved into the digital era and began working with software like Traktor and Ableton. I have a love for music that will never die, even though I have not been able to pursue it as my career I still regularly find myself spinning and producing tracks. If you love it, you just have to do it!

DJ Denise is no stranger to electronic music. From her meteoric rise in the San Francisco underground scene in the late-1990s under the guise DJ D, to now in her 19th year of DJing, Denise has played thousands of events and at most venues in San Francisco, California. She has travelled from Miami to Hawaii and everywhere in between, spreading her unique energy and style. Her nonchalant fader flicks and mixer tricks combined with seemingly effortless beatmatching skills are intriguing to many trainspotting fans. Denise also runs Mizumo Music, a quality label for house music. This Bay Area label boasts over 160 releases from local and international artists alike. Her music productions have been licensed by well-respected artists and labels including Ministry of Sound, DJ Shortee, Simply Jeff and Epiphyte Record’s “LovEvolution,” the official 2009 CD for San Francisco’s street festival modeled after Germany’s infamous Love Parade. In 2013, Denise was hand-picked by Insomniac's Discovery Project to perform at Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas, one of the largest festivals in the U.S. Despite her lengthy curriculum vitae, her favorite annual gig remains in the heart of San Francisco during Pride, where both old and new friends unite for an afternoon of dancing under the sun. When she's not DJing, you can find Denise working at an Emergency Department in Oakland, CA. Od roku 2005 vede produkci pražského klubu Pekelnej Bar a začíná jako klubový DJ. Neunavným prohrabováním desek v tehdejším DJ SHOPU (DJSHOP.CZ v Heřmanově ulici na Pze 7) narazil na kousky o kterých ani netušil, že spadají do žánru Chicago House.. Celých 10 let vyhledává old school a new school Chicago House producenty, jejichž skladbami baví klubery na tanečním parketu. Od roku 2010 zahajuje spolupráci se zahraničními Chicago House new school producenty. Některé zve do Prahy do Pekelnýho Baru a spřízněných klubů po celé ČR a také na Slovensku. Pekelnej Bar tak získává podporu světově uznávaných producentů...např. Tommy Largo(Nl), Jr From Dallas(Fr), Le Babar(Be), Soul de Marin(Nl), Flapjackers(Be), Sneak(USA), Soydan(Irl), D-T3CH(Aus), Manjane(Srb), Freaky Behaviour(UK), Slum Science(UK), Craig Hamilton(UK), Golf Clap(USA) a další... V Pekelnym Baru dává významný prostor i technu. Ve spolupráci s rezidentními DJi podporuje techno akce na kterých vystoupily zásadní jména jako CJ Bolland(Be), Space DJz(UK), Alexander Kowalski(De), Inigo Kennedy(UK), Colin Dale(UK) a další. Pekelnej Bar je tak unikátním pražským klubem na vzdory svým možnostem.
