Exit Point's passion for the music began in the early 90s, a fan of the Madchester sound of The Stone Roses & Happy Mondays, from here, his musical tastes shifted to the underground Rave sounds of the mid 90's after being introduced to a mixtape by a friend. This led to Exit becoming an avid listener of the local pirate stations, Mix FM, Fresh FM (Leicester) & Kool FM (Birmingham).This keenness further led Exit to take up DJ'ing, initially with a pair of Soundlab belt drives & a Numark mixer. Exit got into the Jungle sound in 1994 and would buy his vinyl from the legendary 5HQ shop in Leicester.

Born and raised in Toronto, Canada groovemixer started DJ'ing at the age of 23. Experimenting with rental equipment he soon purchased his first mixer and CD players. What started out as requests to DJ friend’s house parties soon turned into requests for car shows, youth events, weddings and club venues. Music tastes originated back at the age of 12 with a strict following in the heavy metal genre. As a late teen he started listening to Rap & Hip-Hop which eventually birthed his tastes towards House and Trance music. With influences from DJ Scott Blackwell, AJ Mora, World Wide Message Tribe, Above & Beyond, and Armin Van Buuren he soon realized his greatest desire was to mix Trance, House and Progressive music. Currently he continues to DJ house parties and club venues in and around Toronto. He also produces his own podcast called Audio Nutrition which is available at www.AudioNutrition.com Keeping up with technology he uses the latest gear but enjoys to mix the old school way of beat mixing by ear. Hi Folks! My name is Marcel aka DJ Demars. I've been doin' IT 'in the mix' since 1983'. When I write this I am 48 years old (young?) so maybe I am the most senior citizen over at house-mixes.com :-) All the early mixes are lost due to a minimum of interest in this hobby from me in the late eigthies. But now I am older and wiser I'm mixing again since september 2007 and- thanx to the modern media- am saving al my work since then now. You can find it at my website (maybe later here as well). My great example in my early years was Ben Liebrand (NL). He was the reason why I started this crazy hobby in the first place (thanx Ben for stealing my free time). I am mixing just for the fun of it, at home, in my homestudio. People can only pay me by telling me that they like what I'm producing... so why wait? Leave a comment.
