Hello Party People! I am DJ SoulSh@ker, DJ Emi@L older name (Emile Banen). From the 80's i was fascinated to listen mixes on radio 3 The BVD (Bond van Doorstarters) So i thought i can do this too. Make cut and past mixes on The Akai GX-635D reel to reel tapedeck with 10" Maxell alluminium reels. After that i was fascinated to mix music on old audio and vintage DJ Gear. Repair them if it doesn't work. And sell them if i had enough of it. First mixes what i made where broadcasted on radio 538 "The Dance Top 40" in 1997. I recorded the mixes and jingles (With my own voice) on tape (Tape decks) and later on 386 computers. And after that on MD'.s (Minidiscs). Also i have make enough homemade projects like amplifiers, speakers and 3mtr transmitters. (Yes i was a pirate on the radio in the 90's) with many school and outside friends. I started mixing in the early ’80s with regular disco music, hey, I was just a teenager! :P Later on, I bought my records at Hotsound and Midtown Records in Rotterdam, two amazing places to dig for vinyl. I really miss those days of crate-digging. When I first heard “Chicago House,” I instantly fell in love with the sound. Think of tracks like J.M. Silk, Jack Your Body, Move Your Body, pure magic. In the ’80s, I often went to Bluetiek-in, the disco in Rotterdam at the time. Peter Slaghuis (R.I.P.) was the resident DJ there, and he truly inspired me with his sampling techniques. That pushed me to experiment with my Akai S500 sampler, MIDI sequencing, and sampling all of which really helped me take my mixes to the next level. A lot has changed since then, but I’m still mixing today. My latest gear: the smooth Pioneer XDJ-RX3!

How it started: There was an idea created late 2011 by three enthousiastic DJ's; Danny Terbruggen, A.K.A. Dann, Roy Schumans A.K.A Charo and John Debets A.K.A. Dee Jones, who formed a music group called "Ibiza Vibrations". Each of them played a various style of music, House, Tech-house, Latin-house, Progressive and Trance. In most of the clubs today you listen the common tunes which can be heared on the radio or, the deep underground styles like techno or minimal. Another reason was, a lot of "older youngsters" (in the ages between 25 - 35) complain because of the music anymore in the clubs and the young kids up from 16 years. Also women like to listen vocals and when even possible some live-entertainment with an nice ambiance. So these guys like to change all of that, good music, lot of vocals, nice ambiance and a nice atmosphere. It was on 10 december 2011 at club-Zathura in Brunssum (HOLLAND) when they started their first club night, Not complete sold-out but the people who visit, were exited and enjoyed the complete night and the guys knew from this moment -this is it-, music, friendship, fun and magic! Ibiza Vibrations from the beginning had a goal, they like to entertain people; specaly women and for this they changed everything what was common in DJ land. No boring DJ sets of 1:30 hrs., no-commercial music or cheap cheesy tunes, but pumping beats who make your feet move with the best tracks of the moment, unforgetable oldtimers and lots of vocals and melodys, that is IBIZA VIBRATIONS!!!
