Metro Beatz is a South Florida based DJ/Producer/Remixer/Engineer of House/Electronic, R&B & Hip Hop Music for Music Of Class Productions and MOCRadio Network. Metro Beatz also known as 'LC' orginally from Lawrence, Ma has a long history & career in music since the mid 80s starting with his first rap group 'The Fresh Express - Stop (Before You Get Started)' which was a local hit in Greensboro, NC then scored an underground rap hit in 1990 with his group 'Mind Over Matter - Invisible Enemy' Soon after, Metro Beatz would move to Atlanta in 1990 working with several upcoming R&B & Hip artist, working at records stores, spinning at clubs in Atlanta and spinning mixtapes eventually collaborating with Chris Brann from Wamdue Kids, he caught the bug for House music, relocated to South Florida spinning on Miami's number one station Hot 105, spinning celebrity parties and released his first solo House music project on Terrence Parker's 'Parker MusicWorks Label' in 2008. Currently Metro Beatz now releases fresh new House Music on his own imprint 'Music Of Class' through Symphonic Distribution. My Heart And Soul Is Full Of Music.I Started My Career As A DJ In Carbondale,Il On The Radio Station WDBX 91.1FM.I'v Always Had A Ear For Music..Knew Alot About Music..But Didn't Know What I Wanted To Do With This Special Skill,Until I Experience The Most Exciting Time Of My Life In Carbondale. There Was A DJ By The Name Of DJ SHAD....Man He Was Awesome...The Mixes Was Out Of This World..And The Music Was Something I Would Play Or Put Into rotation.Getting Myself On The Radio Was A Blessing..I Was Nervous At First...But Then Everything Fell In Place Where They Needed To Be.At That Moment And Time I Was Like...Man This Is What I Was Made To Do...Spin Records That Make People Feel Good. I Got My First Break As A Club DJ In 2000 At A Club Called Bourbon Street In Springfield,Il...I Had My Back Pack Full Of Music Ready To Take On A Crowd....The Bar Owner Needed A DJ For A Birthday Party..And I Happened To Show Up With Me And My Music. I Didn't Know The Bar Owner..But There Was Some People In There That Knew Me,And Knew What I Could Do. So I Was Introduced To The Bar Owner By My Uncle Folk-A-Nem...I Got Up There And Rocked The House..Man I Was Feeling Good About My Job.From That Point On I'v Been DJing Around Springfield Every Since. I'v Learned Alot From A Few DJ's Around Here That Showed Me The Ropes On Becoming A Professional DJ. Big Props Goes Out To DJ J.D...DJ PEPPER COOK...And DJ Trouble-T. These Were My Teachers That Taught Me How To Count My BPMS...How To Listen Into The Music..And How To Create A Successful Mixx.During These Times I'v DJed For Murphy Lee,Mike Jones,Ying Yang Twins,Johnny P,Whodini,Sugar Hill Gang,Etc..I'v played In Diffrent Cities And States.
