Technics SL-1200's MK2, SHURE M44-7-H Carts, Numark M3 anolog Mixer, Records, Sound Forge. Digital mixes are created using Adobe Audition. I regrettably sold all my dance records about 18 years ago (very hard times, I guess!) and there were some right bangers in the collection. I'm sure the person who bought them at the time is laughing now! However, my collection has got back to where it was which includes not just dance music but hip hop, soul, funk and reggae. The first record I owned was 'Roxanne Shante go on girl', given to me by my dad, which I still have. I taught myself how to mix on a new AKai Midi Hi-Fi system (1988) where I figured out that placing the select switch in between Phono and Tape (obviously not designed for that) meant both a tape and a record played at the same time on the midi system. As vinyl back then usually had the same tempo on the A side as well as the B side I was able to make a recording of the vinyls A side using the midi tape deck, play the tape back on the midi system and mix it in with the records B side (with the help of my magic Akai switcher). Yep, you guessed it, scratchin that Akai deck to the death!! After that (1989, year of the funky drummer!) I was lucky enough to be bought a pair of brand new Technics 1210's, with the addition of a 5 channel Soundlad Mixer (Total cost £700). I wish I still had those original decks, but sadly, the decks got broke! Shit happens eh!! Although I gave up the all nighters many years ago, I still have a passion for music in many respects, e.g., listening, mixing, playing and producing it. Music is a universal language, and like John Lennon said 'Music is everybody's possession. It's only publishers who think that people own it". I've re uploaded some mixes so they can be played on here. All mixes are of excellent mp3 quality and provide the best sound played through a hi-fidelity sound system with the addition of graphical equalizer. Thanks for listening, I hope you enjoy :)

BIOG I've been d.j. ing since 1988 - After discovering house music from listening to Stu Allan's house hour on Key 103 I began collecting house and techno vinyl. During the early 90's I played on Pirate station - Bliss FM in Middlesbrough. During the mid 90's I played at events in Bradford including the stimulations all nighters and floating bong nights. After a number of years in China I began producing my own music and had one of my first productions 'Unite' featured on Radio 1. I've released music as 'James Sandoz' on Peeled tracks and as 'Hydrosphere' on Dash Deep. My influences include Sasha and Digweed, Nick Warren, Pete Tong, Stu Allan, Paul Taylor and Layo and Bushwaka. I am also heavily influenced by the clubs I frequented in the early 90's namely - Legends, Bowlers, Angels, Havana and the Atmosphere events.

A DJ since the mid 80's..At the forefront of the Acid House/Rave movement and pushing new music every week since! I've played at over 250 venues over the last 26 years and there's no ego involved, I just enjoy playing stuff and love it when people enjoy it too. I still spend all my life immersed in music. It's my passion, I always have and always will love all types of music..House, Techno, Soul, Rare Groove, Electronica, Disco. I'm always trying to find everything before anyone else and I still get excited every time I hear something new i like, whether its a day or 40 years old so I do't think I'll ever give up on this life! Far too many to mention!! but K Klass,Shades of Rythmn back in the day. Always wanted to be Carl Cox back in the Helterskelter and Dreamscape days of clubing . Love Vandalism remixes they sure know how to remix a tune. Favorite tune recently has to be Axwell- I Found You - Now thats oldskool Piano! Best Tune Ever Has to Be "Last Rythmn - Last Rythmn" , What a tune to end the night.Love the classics Ce Ce Rogers is a legend what a voice ! you can't beat the classics.Recent influences are people such as Pete Tong.
