Hi Everyone . I like to introduce myself to all music lovers: DJBEAR a.k.a DJBERKAND “Purveyor of deep, infectious dance grooves and a feel-good atmosphere.” That’s how Berkand describes himself as a DJ. Never afraid to go too deep, his emotive musical selections are his own therapy. Having grown up on his father’s eclectic combination of Rock N Roll music (Elvis Presley,The Beatles), European pop stars (Mina, Julio Iglesias, Adriano Celentano), synth-infused 80s music (Depeche Mode, Gary Numan)… all which became infused with his own love for both disco, jazz and soft rock music, Berkand ended up with quite a mixed spectrum of musical influence. Today, this translates into sets where he picks apart and infuses together all the pieces of this music that he loves best: beautiful synth work, ethereal backdrops, brooding basslines, and occasional vocal hooks… all on top of a pronounced foot-shuffling house beat. A very active member of Deep House community, Berkand is no stranger to the ups-and-downs of a small-town music scene. Though he loves playing in nightclubs, patios and special events, his love for music goes beyond the spectrum of mixing tunes. As a producer, amateur pianist, and promoter, he has found plenty of ways to express himself musically. About me, I have been recording & mixing Latin Jazz & Salsa Gorda since 1977, I also mix Latin, house, dance classics, old school 1980's hip-hop and world music. I have also played live Latin Jazz percussion at the Blue note NYC, and at Cecil's Swingin' Latin jazz nights in Orange NJ. My musical mentors who taught me during my teenage years and in the Spanish Harlem percussion clinics include the jazz & salsa legends Ray Barretto, Tito Puente and Charlie Palmieri. I also love to play Latin percussion to just about everything especially the "Fania All-Stars", I have also mixed "salsa gorda" tunes for my brother from another mother and dear fellow friend Pedro Gomez back at Telemundo TV studios in Hato Rey PR, que viva la salsa por que aqui se formo la rumba!!!!

UUSVAN / DJ / Producer / Remixer My name is Sven. Born in 1969 from Tallinn. House music came into my life and took it's most part. I just enjoyed the music and played when I can. Searching for new styles, search for myself led to the House sound, nowadays I try to do music in different directions. With age, attitudes have changed and my heart told me that I belong to deep house, progressive house, deep techno /soulful & funky & Disco & jackin house. Now I am not yet a simple listener but I want to create and produce my sensations, share emotions and the power of the dance with other persons. Started mixing in the late 80's,with house music like orbital,klf,8o8 state etc and the chicargo/detroit scene that was big around that time and moved right through into the beginning of Belgium techno and hardcore scene and into Jungle/ D&B from 92 onwards aswel. Would mix most styles of dance music from house to progressive, garage and big beat etc. If it had a beat and I had enough tunes for a mix id mix it. Loving the Hardcore Breaks / Nu skool Breaks scene at the moment,thats keeping the old skool scene going.I've never prepped or worked out a mix ever,just cue the first two and of i go with just the tunes laid out in front of me.This way i feel the music and vibe more and its where i get my kick,mixing the way it should be done.Will only upload a mix im sure makes the grade. I love doing mixes of megamixes too and upload them every couple of weeks or so.
