WOOF WOOF! It's all about the groove. Resoluto: a real dog when it comes to groovy house and techno. Like man’s best friend for thousands of years, Resoluto stays loyal to the beat! Resoluto bought his first decks in 1993 when he was only a little puppy. After a year of buying records and practicing hard he started deejaying in a local club. Not satisfied with the amount of gigs, he started organising his own parties. He also began releasing popular Hip Hop mixtapes which opened the doors to all the famous clubs like Paradiso and the Escape in Amsterdam. At the end of the nineties he managed his own club, but soon realised it was a dog eat dog atmosphere and quit and went on to new things… At the same time a good friend introduced him to house and techno music. A whole new world opened for the dog when he frequently started visiting clubs. He really fell in love with the sound and the party people. Not only his fur but also the passion for electronic music kept itching, so he began producing music in 2001. This made his tail wag at a high speed and he could not wait until the moment was there that he could play his own music on vinyl. He had a long way to go because as a DJ you know how you want it to sound, but really making that sound is a whole different story. So when he heard about a new school for musicians in 2003 called "Academie voor Popcultuur" he decided to take his producing skills to the next level and went back to school again. His decision to go back to school paid off. In 2005 he had his first vinyl release on Damazing Records. His track got released together with 5 other tracks on a very special Limited edition. Lately Resoluto is working hard in his studio experimenting with recording his own sounds. Just like he did for the track "Thumbs up". For this track he recorded samples from a Kalimba (African thumb piano), shakers, bongos, handclaps and finger snaps to reach his distinctive sound. And occasionally he is barking at the neighbours when they complain about the loud music… WOOF WOOF!
