I started making bedroom mixes in 1983 with a MAC and a double tape deck. In 1993 I was on the radio, broadcasting to Nottingham for 6 years as DJ Lazy. I started playing Nottingham clubs in 1994 and set up a night called Twist. In 2004 I teamed up with El Carlos and created Jump Shake Rattle & Roll in Birmingham. Having had his first gig supporting Temple Hedz in 2010, Mystery Selector became an after-party DJ at London’s legendary Whirl-y-Gig raves and began regularly appearing on the lineup of Brighton's psytrance, techno and downtempo events. Since then he's also played Whirl-y-Fayre and NoMansLand festivals, and at Boomtown and Secret Garden Party with arts collective Malice In Wasteland. DJ Quantize a.k.a. James Barr, born and bred in Sussex, started out in 2004 performing locally at many house parties, pubs and clubs. As he progressed he was able to secure regular slots around the Somerset, Western Super-mare, Bristol, Southampton and Swindon regions, playing at numerous internet based radio stations, and is now the co-founder at Drum& Bass Network Radio. He was also involved with other various radio stations such as; Emergency FM, Bassport FM, Headrush Radio, DNB Radio, London’s Upfront Radio, BNB London Radio, Glastonbury FM and Ujima 98. His early musical influences include DJ Premier, The Fugees, Cypress Hill, DJ Zinc and DJ Craze. James’ strong interest for music and his passion to succeed led him down the production route, taking on work experience at a professional recording studio in Chichester, where he acquired a taste to start writing his own tracks. Whilst still working voluntary for Airtight Studio's and enrolling with Chichester College for Performing Arts, this course included DJing lessons and practice, gaining experience including career development courses called ‘Gateway to Music’ with an open learning plan. During this time DJ Quantizes musical style progressed to incorporate such genres such as Drum & Bass, Hip Hop and Reggae. James also performed at NASS Festival, Bruton Reggae Fest, Somerset Reggae festival and has made a number of appearances at ‘The Godney Gathering’ where he received a supporting response from the crowd. He has already had the pleasure of playing alongside many major artists like; DJ Brockie, Nicky Blackmarket, Logan D, Turno and Serial Killaz to name a few. With James’ determination, skill and passion to succeed, I am sure this DJ is going to go the distance....Amen...

Started off way back in 2000 with a pair of gemini xl 500II decks and Gemini PS-540i mixer ortofon concord dj cartridge's and last but not least a big box of vinyl (mainly Bassline house and speed garage and a few funky house tracks). Then around 2009 I switched to CD with a dodgy Kam set up which I didn't like lol so i opted for a conroller started with cheep and cheerful and gradually built up to my current DDJ 1000 which absolutely love, (each to their own ehh haha) Still miss my vinyl all these years later, but now I have the ddj1000. My plan is to at least get 1 vinyl deck maybe a second one a little later. Also many years ago around 2004 I started playing on my pal Ste Busby's (aka (the producer) Buzzby) radio station "Loco's FM" playing bassline house and Speed garage, and over years I've played on many other station, currently I play on React Radio Uk Sundays 2-4pm playing mainly house and dance from all eras, then again on Thursdays 6-8pm playing bassline house and Speed garage, I'd love to play in a club or organised event but it just hasn't happened as I wouldn't know where to start to get out there, who knows ehh, maybe one day, but for now I'm quite happy doing what I do, So basically I'm just a very humble bedroom DJ, which absolutely loves all kinds of dance music from the 80s to present day.

With influnces from Jeff Mills, Dave Clarke, Ralf Hildenbeutel, Klaus Jankuhn, Hardy Hard , Todd Terje or Todd Terry he’s developing his sound. 2013 he has had his debut release on 99 waves with the sunstroke EP and his Album “Klimaanlage” on Clubstream Mix. In June 2014 he released the “Palm EP” on Bounce House Recordings. After this release his music becomes deeper and he did really important steps to develope his new sound. So the next decision was to change the artist name to B Selekt and he stands now for a real wide range sound which belongs always to the Dancefloor.

Pascal Coulombe (Pako) et Frédéric Dubuc (Freddo) sont nés dans le milieu des années 70 à Montréal. Ayant vécu leur adolescence à la fin des années 80 et début 90, la majeure partie de leur influence musical électro vient du techno, house et euro dance des années 90. Dans les dernières années, la grande partie de leur l’influence vient d’artistes comme Adam Beyer, Skober, Pig & Dan, Spektre, Loco & Jam, Frankyeffe, Highestpoint et plusieurs autres. Le techno étant le principal style de musique du duo, Le Deep&Chill/Melodic/Progressive font également partie de leur répertoire musical. Le duo est toujours à l’affût de nouveau son et style de musique. Pako & Freddo sont DJ résident à Housemasters Radio au Royaume Uni (Live sets), Underground Frequency en France (Bass Impact, Sunset Frequency) et Djmix.ca au Canada.
