In order to compete, you need to follow these simple rules:
- Genre: Trance (Main Floor = Uplifting-, Vocal-, Tech-, Progressive- or Hard Trance)
- Name: Trance July 2023
- Primary Tag / Genre: Trance
- Additional Tags: Trance July 2023 (Important!)
- Length: Approximately 30 minutes (not over 35 minutes and no less than 25 minutes).
- Include an accurate tracklist.
- Only 1 entry per person.
- Use the cover art provided.
- Be creative and pay attention to what the judges are looking for!
- Once you submitted your mix you can't re-do it and submit again.
If your mix doesn't match the rules, the judges will exclude it in their evaluation.
So please read the rules carefully before you submit your entry.
HOW THE JUDGING WORKS:
The competition will comprise of 2 segments.
Advancement from round 1 will be determined by our special jury and they will choose 5 mixes that stands out. Those 5 semi-finalists will be presented on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/housemixespage and on Telegram https://t.me/housemixesgroup before they move on to the next and final stage.
Top 3 placements of round 2 will be determined by our guest judge along with reasons why those 3 are the best mixes.
The judges will be looking & scoring on:
- Track selection
- Mixing techniques
- Being original
- Progression
- Technical abilities

Bryn Whiting started djing in 2009 after doing a few productional remixes which he sent out and after hearing his tracks being played out at festivals he got the bug and wanted to do the same. He got his first big gig only a few months later by playing at super club Slinky at the Opera house Bournemouth after this life changing moment he was booked again and again then was offered a job with the Brand as Promotional Manager he then went on to lead many sold out events at the Opera House with the brand but the sudden loss of his father he left the brand and took some time out from the scene.
6 year later he's started producing again and this time it was the music he fell in love with from the start Trance music.
Having many tracks played by big names such as Armin Van Burren, PVD, Sean Tyas just to name a few, he listened and learnt of a new way to edit his music so it just flows with no breakdowns and it's a constant powerful sound which he calls Relentless.
His debut solo track out on Tidy Two went straight into the Beatport Top 100 Trance releases at no5 but 2 days later it was number 1 for 8 days!!
