House Is Life and i am addicted Been collecting music for 36 years and very proud of my vinyl collection from the 80's/90's. In my opinion the 80's was the best time for music and left me inspired by the great musicians and artists who left a legacy behind and music is still influenced by those heroes. Not afraid to experiment with sounds and always searching the globe for something a little different, and if recent releases don't cater for my needs, then there is always the archives. My Listening Genre's - House, Soulful House, Deep House, Afro House, Jazz House, Latin House, Tribal House, Lounge, Nu-Jazz, Soul, RNB, D&B, Garage, 2 Step. Music has always been my pastime and enjoyed the occasional gigs and live sets, but never really took my passion to the next level. Life is kinda hectic and faded out of the scene for a considerable time but now back to basics doing what i enjoy, pretty serious about my music and hope that i can spread some joy along the way...love peace and prosperity to all. I think music in itself is healing. It's an explosive expression of humanity. It's something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we're from, everyone loves music. Developed my passion for house music in the late 90's when the genre started gaining momentum in South Africa. It was through the influence of some of South Africa's pioneers of House Music, namely, DJ Christos, Vinny Da Vinci, DJ Fresh, Glen Lewis, DJ Khabzela, Oskido and DJ Monde, to mention just a few. While House Music remains my main music of choice, I have also dabbled with a variety of urban genres, incl. Hip Hop, R&B, Dancehall and UK Funky. It was through Urban music where I had the opportunity to DJ at some of the South Coast's popular nightclubs. I currently run a series of mixtapes, namely, South Africa Deep series, Stebo Goes Deep series and the seasonal Soulful and Jazzy House series. I started the clubs scene during the 1980s and I was influenced by soul- disco, the freewheeling Jaz funk scene, emerging house, hip-hop styles and Latin . I went to my very first Southport weekender in the early 90's and then I became hooked with the house scene and I bought my first decks and started to play sets in the underground clubs and parties. I was a Part of largest pirate radio station in yorkshire sharing my passion for Funk soul- US Garage & soulful house. Thats history and this is now...
