baiodeejay was born in Milan in 1970; grew artistically between dark music and anglo-saxon psychedelia, finds his musical identification in the panorama techno and trance tied to the Detroit scene of the 90's (Damon Wild, Mix Master Morris, Ritchie Hawtin, Orlando Voorn, Jeff Mills, Tim Xavier etc). In the 2000s the his love for the new electronics and a growing interest in house music artistically they will direct him toward the minimal - house and electro mainly linked to Berlin's German scene; musical style influenced by artists like Kraftuerk, Pink Floyd, Brian Eno etc. Matured in the Milan underground scene; today is the owner of an independent record label, called Habitat Recordings L.T.D, founded in the late '90s as well as DJ of some milanese and european clubs where also performs with his crew. Location London....Originally grew up playing a Reggae Sound called Jama,from a very young age,with my good friends from Jamaica,then as things progressed we used to get Dub-plates cut from top artists to play exclusively over our sound,then as things progressed I started making Music with a close Sound System member called Puma,we recorded various Reggae tracks,which mainly stayed underground,this progressed when I was introduced to the Rave scene...way back,we used to go to Rain Dance ,Sunrise ect...during this time we became heavily involved in studio work producing white labels,under the names of..Time Bandits,Hear the Noize,Erogenous Zone to name a few,we became friends with Fabio and Groove rider,and worked with Renk Records and Trouble on vinyl,producing,we where at the for front of the beginning of Drum and Bass,from the first use of Time stretching old reggae records with speeded up break beats...we had a great time,but it was always a struggle to cross over,as the Main stream/record companies where nervous and did not want to take chances with this new music...Drum and Bass,so as life dictates,I had a family and needed to survive,which meant a 9 to 5 job,which has to be done when you stand as a man for your family...so we gave up recording ect,and have fond memories to look back on and I am so happy Drum and Bass has come so far in the World,and would like to think we contributed to this happening ...so my Muzix lovers..stay blessed and live good..Respect..

After exploring different directions of electronic music from Detroit and German techno and tech-house to psy trance, hardcore and industrial, I started mixing jungle and drum’n’bass in early 2000s. Having performed in various clubs in Eastern Europe, I moved to Berlin, Germany and then continued expanding my music horizons living in India, the Netherlands and Romania. With time, my selection has expanded to a vast collection of music styles and genres, including various forms of techno and industrial, hip-hop, jungle/drum’n’bass and breakcore, big beat and breakbeat, reggae/dancehall/dub, as well as death, black and nu-metal. I currently live in Washington DC and continue mixing various directions of electronic music, in addition to working on my own material.
