I originally started listening to the darker side of D&B, i give a lot of respect to DJ Hazard because that's where i got my inspiration to become a DJ, the first ever Liquid Drum & Bass track I listened to was Logistics - Together. Plus hopefully one day, i'm hoping to start and make my own Drum & Bass tracks / music, once i have a bit more knowledge on the music, I've been DJing for over 2 years now, I'm still learning but I'm getting there. And I've also been a Drum & Bass fan for over 10 years.

I STARTED MIXING IN 1995 ON A SET OF KAM DIRECT DRIVE DECKS MY FRIEND PICKED UP. I THEN STARTED TO GATHER A VINYL COLLECTION IN 1996 WHEN I PICKED UP MY FIRST 2 RECORDS IN BLACKMARKET RECORDS SOHO: DIRTY CHOPPER, SHY FX AND RAY KEITH MIXES ON DREAD AND CANDLES BY ALEX REECE. AND SO MY LOVE FOR MIXING AND MASHING IT UP BEGAN. IN 1997 I BOUGHT MY FIRST PAIR OF TURNTABLES, TECHNICS 1210 MK2s, (The same set i use to this day). AFTER OVER TEN YEARS OF PLAYING IN AND AROUND THE SOUTH WEST I MET AN MC BY THE NAME OF TRICKY IN 2008 WHO I INVITED TO BE MY MC AT ONKET TEKNO IN PLYMOUTH NYE 2008>2009 WHERE WE RINSED IT OLD SKOOL AND EXPERIENCED AN AWESOME VIBE. I HAVE ALSO PLAYED BACK 2 BACK WITH A HOST OF DJ PARTNERS. AS THE SMB CREW WITH DJ POLO, THE FOUNDER OF PUKKA VINYL. AS THE DOPE JEDIS WITH DJ SINISTER AND AS AK-47 WITH DJ KRISP. I WAS RESIDENT AT KILLA BEATS IN PLYMOUTH DURING THE LATE 90s AND MORE RECENTLY FOR DIMENSIONAL SCHIZM, A BREAKCORE and ELECTRONICA NIGHT THAT WAS AND IS ALL ABOUT GOOD TIMES. I LOVE RINSING THE WHEELS OF STEEL ON STAGE OR AT HOME, ALONE OR WITH MY PARTNER MISS MAYHEM. MY FAMILY IS A MASSIVE PART OF MY LIFE NOW THOUGH I STILL LOVE TO GET A MIX ON AT HOME, IN A FIELD OR IN A CLUB, PREFERABLY ON A PHAT RIG WITH AN ENGINEER THAT WORKS WITH ME TO PRODUCE THE BEST SOUND. I AM CURRENTLY LOOKING TO GO BACK TO MAKING MY OWN BEATS AS WELL AS PLAYING MORE GIGS AS I HUNGRIER THAN EVER AND STILL HAVE A GENUINE AND DEEP SEATED PASSION FOR WHAT I DO.OLD SKOOL RAVER, JUNGLIST BEAT JUNKIE !!

2 x Technics 1200 Mk2, 1 x Behringer DDM4000 Mixer and Skull Candy headphones! lots! Hi this is Dj Miss Mayhem... I spin vinyl and I mix house, electro, techno, old skool jungle and dnb. I have been mixing for around 10 years and started off in Brighton where i played at The Volks, The Concorde 2, The Ocean Rooms and many house and squat parties! From my time in Plymouth i have enjoyed playing out at Voodoo lounge, Maggies, The Hub, C103, View 2 as well as some wicked house parties!. I recently played for Dance Conspiracy at Cafe Rene in Gloucester twice which was amazing! At the moment i am teaching myself the art of Scratching with a little help from Dj Q Bert, Mix Master Mike and other tallented scratch dj's via You tube which is challenging but very enjoyable!
