We are not DJ's... though our presentation is quite similar to a DJ... The reason is because our music is improvised and performed live. We use hardware for it's dedicated operation, phatt sound and full-on tactile control surface... We use computers for live multitrack sequencing, recording, complex sampling, visuals and dmx lighting control... Our focus is on "Frequency Tuning"... By keeping our elements separate and at our fingertips we are alowed to work directly with the "Biofeedback" that we recieve from the crowd dancing... DJ oGuia is one talented DJ from Bulgaria. He launched his DJ career in 2001 when he was 17. Soon he was acknowledged as highly driven and promising artist. DJ oGuia's sets incorporate house, electro, progressive, minimal and techno . His musical taste is inspired by everything and anything in his surrounding environment. His new ideas for mixes come from listening to various types of music. DJ oGuia developed his everlasting love of music in his early childhood. His interest in music boosted when house and techno tunes materialized as part of the Bulgarian underground scene. Music and mostly club and underground tunes became his real love. Once he discovered his mixing talent and knowledge of how to make excellent music selections, he participated in musical events and party promotions at summer beach parties at the Bulgarian clubs. A dj from perth still doing it old school with a mixer and two vinyl decks some people may say I should move with the time times. But it is my ultimate fave way to dj you cant beat the feel of good old trusty vinyl in my eyes. Oh and no fancy mixers with all these effects I play tunes how they were produced and meant to be heard best way in my opinion. Well to add to this these days I am now using Traktor a lot more than I thought but still sticking with my old school vibe of using my vinyl turntables and using time coded vinyl to mix with due to being unable to keep up with being able to afford vinyl and having the space to store it as well, this is due to me studying my Bsc in Audio Engineering thankfully I am in my last year now. http://soundcloud.com/dj_raul

Started from the bedroom to the nightclubs back in 1992, generally warming up in the bigger clubs in the North East of England. Fell out of love with House music in the 00's when it became pidgeon holed into genres but technology has allowed the future of house music to progress and exceed expectations - I'm in love again!!
