La mia passione per la musica Dance e verso la professione di Dj è iniziata nel 1978. DJ REST è lo pseudonimo che usavo da ragazzo, e deriva dal fatto che negli anni 80 si registravano i dj set su cassette. Quando si volevano fare dei tagli si usava la "pausa" dei registratori a cassette e il sottoscritto la usava molto bene. Per non usare lo pseudonimo "PAUSE", usammo il corrispondente di PAUSA in Inglese: REST, da lì Dj Rest. Nell'indirizzo E-Mail è stato aggiunto From Sardinia perchè in giro per il mondo ci sono altri Dj Rest.

I like to introduce myself to all music lovers: DJBEAR a.k.a DJBERKAND “Purveyor of deep, infectious dance grooves and a feel-good atmosphere.” That’s how Berkand describes himself as a DJ. Never afraid to go too deep, his emotive musical selections are his own therapy. Having grown up on his father’s eclectic combination of Rock N Roll music (Elvis Presley,The Beatles), European pop stars (Mina, Julio Iglesias, Adriano Celentano), synth-infused 80s music (Depeche Mode, Gary Numan)… all which became infused with his own love for both disco, jazz and soft rock music, Berkand ended up with quite a mixed spectrum of musical influence. Today, this translates into sets where he picks apart and infuses together all the pieces of this music that he loves best: beautiful synth work, ethereal backdrops, brooding basslines, and occasional vocal hooks… all on top of a pronounced foot-shuffling house beat. A very active member of Deep House community, Berkand is no stranger to the ups-and-downs of a small-town music scene. Dj Ceddy Ced has been in the entertainment business for over thirty years. Ceddy started off as a disc jockey in 1978...by 1983 he owned his own night club ..called The Beat... Which at that time ventured into concert promotions... Several eighties stars visited the club ...World Class Wrecking Crew..LA Dream Team...Bobby Jimmy and The Critters...
