His career started after he got his first pair of Technics in 1983 and began putting on successful events and parties around his local area where he quickly began establishing a name for himself at both live events and also pirate radio. In 2007, Skittles began to produce regular monthly mixes and publish them on iTunes. Events Having grown up a "Rink Rat", I developed a love for all styles of music at an early age. I have to give some major credit to Jeff Green (R.I.P) who was the greatest influence I had on my DeeJaying. Disco, funk, early electro, freestyle and hip hop are huge influences and led me to discover house music at the tail end of the 80's / early 90's. Started DeeJaying around '92 and a few years later found myself throwing and playing raves and EDM weeklies all over Atlanta. Did the rave thing til '03 and got into the clubs around then doing the top 40/rap thing. Held numerous residencies in the ATL. Now I have re discovered my roots and found again the music that started me on this journey 30 yrs ago... Please enjoy my mixes... I try to do a little of everything.. mainly house, disco, 80's.
