Dave’s been hooked on the “House Scene” since 1988 after stumbling into a Pleasure Zone party at Slough Centre and he knew right there and then he’d found his happy place! A new set of Technics turntables was on the priority list and the vinyl collection began along with his own underground parties and then progressing to DJing for many bars, clubs & promoters all over the Home Counties & London alongside various pirate radio stations, sometimes playing out at 4 venues in a single night. Dave’s played alongside & supported some of the original pioneers and big players in the scene such like, Carl Cox, Derrick May, Jim Masters to name a few, he’s played at many hundreds of venues from the coolest, intimate wine bars in West London to the superclubs including the Ministry of Sound and heaps inbetween. You can currently find Dave playing every Friday afternoon direct from his home studio in Perth on his weekly 3 hour live show where he presents his Ozzy Breakfast Show directly to Release Radio DAB (UK’s dedicated underground dance music station) which in turn goes out live 7-10am UK time. Dave’s often inviting in special guests to the studio where DJ’s & producers & promoters get the opportunity to play & promote their gigs, upfront music and themselves to an enormous global audience. Born in the deep rain-forests of Central Africa, was a chimpanzee named Kevin, who was unlike any other ape in the jungle. While his peers swung from vines and played in the treetops, he was fascinated by a different kind of rhythm. He was entranced by the sound of the rain, the wind in the leaves, and the chirping of birds, but most of all, he loved the beat of the jungle itself. One day, as he sat by a gurgling stream, he found an old, discarded radio. He curiously examined it, pushing buttons and twisting knobs. Suddenly, music blared from the small device. The ape's eyes widened with wonder, and a rush of excitement coursed through him. The rhythmic beats and melodies filled his heart, and he began to dance, swaying to the music with pure joy. The ape's newfound passion for music soon turned into an obsession. He spent hours each day tinkering with the radio, discovering new tunes and rhythms. His fellow chimps watched him with amusement, wondering why he was so captivated by this strange human invention. As days turned into weeks, a fascination evolved into something more profound. He began to experiment with different sounds in the jungle, mimicking the melodies he had heard on the radio. He would beat rocks on tree trunks, clap his hands, and imitate the bird's songs, creating his own unique beats. His affinity for rhythm and melody quickly became evident to his ape companions. They gathered around him as he improvised, and soon they too began to dance to his rhythms. The jungle was alive with the sounds of makeshift music, bringing joy and unity to his fellow chimpanzees. Word of this ape's music soon reached a group of local scientists who were studying primates in the rain-forest. They were amazed by the ape's musical abilities and decided to observe him closely. They left a small record player with a collection of music, and Kevin immediately recognized the device, having heard a similar sound from the old radio he found. The ape's journey into the world of DJ'ing had officially begun. With the record player, he learned to switch records, create unique mixes, and even scratch the vinyl with a twig. The scientists were astonished by the musical prodigy they had discovered. Over time, the Ape's DJ trek took him beyond the rain-forest. In 1988, he began spinning records in Colorado, captivating audiences with fun hooks and beats. And, as years would pass, his DJ path would branch as it held course with his life; thus, taking him to California, Hawaii, Germany, Spain, and China, performing at clubs, raves, and mobile gigs. His unique jungle-inspired beats made the souls of many smile. With the inevitable passage of time, the Ape's life took new turns, but all the same, he never lost touch with his roots. These days, he continues to mix music simply for fun, and to furnish his wife with new stuff to listen to. He often imagines that his poor wife lives with a semi-domesticated ape that roams the house and makes uncouth gestures--the local house ape.

Funky Monkey met with electronic music in the late 80's with basic from C64 and soon also started with some easy productions. After getting new equipment in the mid 90's he also started to get contact into the electronic music. He started to produce private trance and progressive tracks in years 1997-2002. After this he got in contact with House Music (This was and still is his biggest love) and started to produce house tracks. Now he's spinning at closed private parties and making exclusive sets to the WWW for people and online Radio stations. CIGAMRACSO started his musical career in 1989 as DJ for important clubs in Madrid. Nightclubs like OYE, ATTICA, CIRCUS and PACHA VILLABA, OKI as well as others. He also developed his career as a radio presenter on TOP 40 and Antenna 3. That decade (wonderful decade of the 80s) without doubt left an unforgettable impression on those who lived through dance music that was probably the most creative ever produced. During the 90s he continued both as a radio DJ and as resident DJ at clubs such as KASIM, the biggest super-nightclub on the Spanish Mediterranean. In 1992 he moved to Ohio (USA) where he immersed himself in the house and funky culture. Two years later, having returned to Spain, his professional development rocketed as he developed his own productions and worked at elite clubs particularly in IBIZA where he became a reference in house music. He has developed his own style defined as FRESH HOUSE... Powerful rythmic bases combined with musical samples from the 70s and 80s: electronic and Italy Dance - and this thanks to the mastery of systems like CDJ 2000, DJM 2000, remix system RMX 1000 and others. His sessions are bursts of fresh air in revolutionary non-stop sets!
