Hi , My name is Ignasi. I live in Barcelona..I love music..I'm very influed by Black Music..Rhythm and Blues, Acid Jazz, and of course Soulful and Vocal House..It all started about 20yrs ago when the Acid House scene started, then I went on a Holiday to Ibiza where i enjoyed summer nights dancing music.. I started to mix as a hobby and it's still a hobby..I'm a business man but I always try to find time to discover new tracks for my following sessions.. Pioneer CDJ 350's Numark Turntables Garage Soulful/Funky House Limited RnB Lover of all styles of music but it must be well made music. None of this commercial s**t that's flooding the radio stations ! In my schools days i loved listening to Hardcore music, with Dj Sy & Seduction being my two favourite Dj's. When i purchased my first turntables, i then started buying little bits of House music, as well as playing Hardcore. At this time, i was more into the progressive harder style of House music . By the time i left comprehensive school and joined West Bromwich Albion i found myself listening to Garage music, buying the tape packs and records. It was only when Garage music started changing and becoming more harder in style, that i thought to myself, i don't like the way this is going and started listening Vocal House & Soulful House music instead . Soulful house had always touched me when i heard it but i never knew much about it, until i started visiting Catapault Records in Cardiff and a lady called Mel started to educate me. Since then ive never looked back. I love this style of music and i fully intend to open my own bar somewhere and educate hundreds of people every single week, on the joys of SOULFUL HOUSE MUSIC ! ; ; ; ; ; I could name more but these people touch me on a regular basis!
