D-Vox is a dj of 15 years, influenced by artists across genres. From mixing hard trance/hard house in her bedroom, inspired by Tiesto, she then found house, techno & dnb. D-Vox is also a versatile vocalist/lyricist. She has developed a unique ability to accompany instrumental DNB, house & techno tracks within her sets with live, melodic vocals. After many years playing in the Cornish party scene, I now specialise in my first love of house and techno. In the past 3 years I have been lucky enough to have played some high profile sets at many of the South West's biggest festivals and parties including Glastonbury Festival, Boardmasters, Masked Ball, Leopallooza, Run To The Sun, Holifair & Nass Festival to crowds of up to 1000 people & have recently shared the stage with the likes of Sister Bliss, Phil Hartnoll (Orbital), Leftfield, Friendly Fires, Dreadzone, The Cuban Brothers, Freestylers, Brandon Block, Neurodriver, B Traits & DJ Fresh, support slots to capacity crowds for Norman Jay MBE, The Boomtown Rats, Newton Faulkner, Xavier Rudd and playing both the Boardmasters & Quiksilver/DeluxX closing parties. Born and raised in Toronto, Canada groovemixer started DJ'ing at the age of 23. Experimenting with rental equipment he soon purchased his first mixer and CD players. What started out as requests to DJ friend’s house parties soon turned into requests for car shows, youth events, weddings and club venues. Music tastes originated back at the age of 12 with a strict following in the heavy metal genre. As a late teen he started listening to Rap & Hip-Hop which eventually birthed his tastes towards House and Trance music. With influences from DJ Scott Blackwell, AJ Mora, World Wide Message Tribe, Above & Beyond, and Armin Van Buuren he soon realized his greatest desire was to mix Trance, House and Progressive music. Currently he continues to DJ house parties and club venues in and around Toronto. He also produces his own podcast called Audio Nutrition which is available at www.AudioNutrition.com Keeping up with technology he uses the latest gear but enjoys to mix the old school way of beat mixing by ear.
