My journey as a DJ began in the UK, sparked by my first clubbing experience where I was captivated by a DJ's ability to blend tracks effortlessly. This moment ignited my passion for music and motivated me to embark on a career in DJing. I took my first steps in 2007 by downloading a free legal version of Virtual DJ, which allowed me to mix live online and experiment with various genres. Angus McDonald has a great love for house music, stretching back to the early 90's. He initially learned to mix using Technics SL1210s after he started his very first job in a record shop. He spent most of the nineties working in records shops in Rochdale, Bradford and Keighley as well as frequenting many of the large nights from that era and visiting many of the record shops scattered about through the UK. After leaving the scene in the early 00's, Angus is now back on it and mixing on Pioneer CDJs. Finding a new feel and enthusiasm for the decks, Angus loves to play many different types of house. Whilst mixing, Angus keeps his sets uplifting, with good vocals, catchy basslines and lots of classic samples. The most essential ingredient you find is a happy feel good vibe. He's back... Hailing from Denver, Dj Double 00... started his Dj career in 1998. Holding residencies at The Church, Club Vinyl, Bash, The Deadbeat Club, Club Synergy and various raves and guest sets in clubs all over Colorado. After many years of adulting he had an opportunity to be part of a special birthday event for my wife. So in early 2020 he decided to dust off the 1200's and reminisce on the classics. With the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic that party was no longer an option. With love and support of his wife and children he once again found a desire to get back to the music.

BIOG I've been d.j. ing since 1988 - After discovering house music from listening to Stu Allan's house hour on Key 103 I began collecting house and techno vinyl. During the early 90's I played on Pirate station - Bliss FM in Middlesbrough. During the mid 90's I played at events in Bradford including the stimulations all nighters and floating bong nights. After a number of years in China I began producing my own music and had one of my first productions 'Unite' featured on Radio 1. I've released music as 'James Sandoz' on Peeled tracks and as 'Hydrosphere' on Dash Deep. My influences include Sasha and Digweed, Nick Warren, Pete Tong, Stu Allan, Paul Taylor and Layo and Bushwaka. I am also heavily influenced by the clubs I frequented in the early 90's namely - Legends, Bowlers, Angels, Havana and the Atmosphere events.

worked as DJ ,in Manchester clubs late 70,s and 80,s ,also worked as backup/ agency DJ at the Warehouse & then best club in the world "The Hacienda" later married , went mobile (earn extra money) ,moved to entertainment agency ,worked most of the hi end hotels around Manchester and surrounding areas, to up head Dj residency at the Willows Salford ,up until it closure ,retired from the DJ scene , when wife was taken ill ,most of my DJ life was in the club scene , but northern soul was my escape, early in life I used to go to the casino , blue room, twisted wheel catacombs' torch ,mecca, plus rake of smaller venues: :Sincere apology's to any that have followed me , have not done much on here or work wise , I retired from the Club & DJ scene , when my wife found out she had cancer ,spent most of my time looking after her ,however since loosing her battle with the big C ,(July 2020)and the fact she told me to throw myself back into music once she had gone ,I am doing just that ,everything I upload from Jan 2021 is dedicated to her memory ,Thank you for the time we had together my love, gone but not forgotten. R.I.P Elsa my one and only Love, . . .
