Getting the taste for DJ'ing during high school 1995, Graham soon became the regular DJ at his school's underage discos, starting out on simple, home stereo equipment. Fresh out of VCE, in 1998 he attended RMIT and completed Certificate IV in Sound Production, honing his skills in the studio’s equipment. Meanwhile on the DJ front, Graham soon became the regular DJ at the local Bluelight underage dance parties, a gig he performed at on and off over an 8 year period. Over the past 10 or so years, Graham has worked at countless venues as a mobile DJ for birthday parties of all ages, engagements, school dances, Christmas parties, house parties and many other events. From May-December 2007, Graham was bringing the house down every Saturday night @ Bridie O'Reilly's Chapel Street, fitting in perfectly between sets of the cover band, Element. Graham’s preferred styles of music to play are House & Electro, but feels right at home playing anything from Top 40, RnB classics, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, and he also has a soft spot for a bit of Rock (having played the drums since the age of 4!) No matter what I do, life just always pushes me back to music. It is difficult to put into words just how much music means to me. I am thankful to love something this much. Music for me is as precious as the air I breathe. Music is a universal language. A gift from heaven most certainly. I believe the same as Bob Marley did. One love absolutely. The world needs good music and good artists to unify people given how the world has been going. I am most certainly not the best and also not the worst. I can hold my own extremely firmly at huge performances and I spin proudly and happily. Yet I spin just as fine next to the poolside on a weekend. The fact is I enjoy music immensely. I always have a song playing in my head. My heart is in the right place. My sincere wish for you to also enjoy this wonderful gift we have been given. I do music in my way. But if a person's day is made due to a song I played or composed, Happiness. I have been so blessed in my life to see people enjoy beautiful moments that changed their lives forever for the better. So I absolutely love music and I respect it's power to change lives. I am however just a flesh and blood person. I grow everyday to be better than yesterday. Doesn't always go that way. I tip my hat to the magic of other peeple's skill with music as well. I still learn every day. I am just grateful to be able to make my own. I am Jay D. No more, no less. Things you don't find on the net :D I have been playing music for a long time. I can do some magic. So magic I will do for you to the best of my skill. That IS my guarantee to you. But I will let the work speak for itself. But I sincerely do hope you like what you find. It makes me happy to see you happy. That is why we do this after all :D
