DJ SteveO 2025
DJ SteveO 2025

My journey as a DJ began in the UK, sparked by my first clubbing experience where I was captivated by a DJ's ability to blend tracks effortlessly. This moment ignited my passion for music and motivated me to embark on a career in DJing. I took my first steps in 2007 by downloading a free legal version of Virtual DJ, which allowed me to mix live online and experiment with various genres. You can also catch my live shows on www.virtualdjradio.com Music plays a significant role in my life, with house and dance music being my primary focus. Currently, I utilize Rekordbox alongside a Pioneer DDJ1000 controller, striving to hone my skills and become the best DJ I can be. My ambition is to perform live in nightclubs throughout the UK, drawing inspiration from renowned artists such as James Hype, David Guetta, Martin Garrix, Armin Van Buuren, Alok, and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike.

Gabriel Rodriguez Nuyoshi
Gabriel Rodriguez Nuyoshi

Gabriel Rodriguez (Nuyoshi Music Chicago) aka Gabriel Rican Rodriguez is considered to be a House legend in the Latino communities across the Chicagoland area. In the late 80's and early 90's, he made quite a name for himself and was headlining at various House Music concerts & events with the likes of: Ralphi Rosario, Mario Smokin Diaz, Mike Hitman Wilson, Bad Boy Bill, Fast Eddie, Tyree Cooper, Rich Martinez, CZR, DJ Sneak, Georgie Porgie and Derrick Carter, to name a few. In 89, his first record label appearance came on "Lost in Bass - Bass Boyz" released by Hot Jams Records (licensed by: DiKI in Belgium, UK & Kool Kat Records in California, USA) where he showcased his trademark scratches. He then hit the airwaves by being a Resident DJ on Chicago Radio WCYC along with several special guest spots on B-96, WCRX, RADIO ARTE & WIIT. His first remix came in 98' on "We Came To Party - 4XSample" on Skribe Records. Gabriel Rodriguez was one of the main DJ's of the historical "Club 720" in the heart of River North downtown Chicago, along with DJ Ricky Agujita Perez, as it was voted as the Best Latin Night Club in 97' by Chicago Reader Magazine. In 2002, Gabriel along with partners Dave Dirzo, Devastating Dennis and DJ Fila produced a deep sultry house song "Krazy feat Nature Love" on Nuyoshi Records that earned global recognition by charting and getting rave reviews on many publications. The song made the Legendary Grammy Award winning producer, Frankie Knuckles top 10 list in Ministry of Sound Magazine. Gabriel also has worked with bass guitarist Mike Saxon from Nite Life Collective on some projects while working at Sam Ash Music. In 2003, he had the opportunity to showcase his skills on the TV show called "Hot Wax" hosted by Chris Devins. Around this time, he also produced a deep house remix of "Life is Good" from South African singer/actress KB Motsilanyane who had a cameo appearance in the movie "Ali" that featured Will Smith, Jamie Foxx, Jon Voight, Mario Van Peebles & Jada Pinkett Smith. This remix was distributed by Universal in SA. In 2006, Gabriel traveled to Miami to spin for the Calle Ocho Fest. Later that year, he became a resident DJ for Univision Radio in Chicago (La Kalle, Latino Mix and Maximo) and has opened up for Latin Grammy Award winning artists such as Wisin y Yandel, Pitbull and Don Omar, to name a few. In 2017, Gabriel Rodriguez was asked to showcase his talents to spin at the Villa La Joya mansion in El Playa Del Carmen, Quintana Roo Mexico. After a long layoff from music production, in 2022 he decided to get back to doing what he loves to do. In 2024, Gabriel headlined at the monumental Navy Pier on Lake Shore Drive for the Wav Wall Wax, in downtown Chicago, celebrating 40 years of Latinos in the House Music scene. In the same year, he also received a Lifetime Achievement Award for his contributions in House Music and Battle DJing within the Latin communities called the "Latin Living Legends Award". He made a special appearance as a Guest DJ on Da Booth Radio Show broadcasted on Chicago Radio 88.9 FM. DJ DMC
DJ DMC

www.dancetraxx.online Dance Traxx (The House Generation) With Dance Traxx, Radio 800 had its own house and techno program. From April 1991 DJs Rafffke (Raf Van Breedam), DMC (Chris Maes) and M.C.M. (Mario Doms) pumping dance beats on the 103.8 los every Saturday evening from 9 pm to 1 am. A few months later, DJ Ronny den Draaier (Ronny Eeckelaert) joined the Dance Traxx team as a record supplier. With music genres still in their infancy and without competition from dance radios that did not exist at the time, the Dance Traxx jocks were pioneers of house and techno on FM. Already in the early nineties they played records by then unknown groups such as The Prodigy and Praga Khan. Due to a lack of financial resources (insufficient money for weekly fresh vinyl), the broadcasts were discontinued in May 1992. Four years later, Radio 800 had invested heavily in the better DJ equipment (Pioneer CDJ500 CD players and mixing console) and Rafffke and DMC returned with great pleasure to the broadcasting building on the Willebroekse Stationsplein. From July 11, 1996, Thursday evenings (from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.) became the regular spot for the Dance Traxx broadcasts. The program was now better thought out and thanks to a collaboration with well-known discotheques (such as Carré, Illusion and Extreme) and the leading Belgian record label Bonzai Records (Lightning Records), free entrance tickets and CDs could be given away to listeners every week. Dance Traxx also regularly gave young DJs from the region the opportunity to show their talents. In 1997 the program was (re)broadcast for several months on the Mechelen Radio Randstad. While DMC stuck to the popular buffoonery, Raf turned to the more alternative subgenres of house and techno. Friday November 7, 1997 and Friday November 6, 1998 were the D-day of Dance Traxx mania: together with Alain "Swakke" Sweers and dozens of other helpful sympathizers, Rafffke and DMC organized the legendary Dance Traxx Missions: parties in the Heilig Kruis hall in Willebroek where 500 fans flocked to. On Thursday December 10, 1998 the last episode of Dance Traxx was broadcast on Radio 800. On the 10th february 2018 we had a big reunion party @ Willebroek. Since 2020 is DANCE TRAXX back on the (internet) air.

bought my 1st set of decks in 92 ... Sound Lab belt drives ... good huh? lol   but i, and others learnt how to mix on them and were better for having done so as other DJ's, who only ever played on technics couldn't play on anything else lol   i love oldskool ... 92 is probz my fav year though i love to play 93/96 funky house   Though i much prefer playing on the 1210's, i have embraced technology and will happily play on any media (CD's, USB's, Midi Controller or even just stand-alone VDJ)   you can catch me playing online on alternate Sunday's on OSKP Radio from 4-5pm (UK time) www.oskp-radio.com   you can also see videos of my shows on my FB page here https://www.facebook.com/tonydjtstanding main FB profile https://www.facebook.com/DJTonyStanding My youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/user/DJTonyStanding?feature=plcp
