Anthony "DJ Ant B" Bennett is a music producer, radio show host and nationally-recognized DJ specializing in Soulful House, R&B and Rap, infused with a bit of northern flair. DJ Ant B produces Fabulous Fridays, a live, weekly, interactive internet-based House music show (Fridays, 8-10 pm EST, (inthezoneent.com). His old-school R&B and Rap mixes can be heard on the nationally-syndicated radio show, Diggin' in the Crates with Chubb Rock, where DJ Ant B is an on-air personality and one-third of the 'Needle-Droppers' crew. The show is heard in 32 markets in the United States. In addition, DJ Ant B produces House Arrest where his special mixes can be heard daily during middays and weekends on Atlanta's own OG 97.9 fm. An Industry Veteran DJ Ant B is passionate about music. His talents are reaching major heights and spreading far and wide, but his success is not new-found. Providing entertainment since the early 80s, he performed at colleges, clubs and fashion shows featuring top designers in New York and New Jersey. DJ Ant B's creativity and brilliant mixing skills are modeled after those heard in the top clubs in New York and New Jersey, including Zanzibar, Club America, Club 88, The Latin Quarters, The Shelter and many more. Current Events DJ Ant B plays at many private events and clubs in the Atlanta area and beyond. baiodeejay was born in Milan in 1970; grew artistically between dark music and anglo-saxon psychedelia, finds his musical identification in the panorama techno and trance tied to the Detroit scene of the 90's (Damon Wild, Mix Master Morris, Ritchie Hawtin, Orlando Voorn, Jeff Mills, Tim Xavier etc). In the 2000s the his love for the new electronics and a growing interest in house music artistically they will direct him toward the minimal - house and electro mainly linked to Berlin's German scene; musical style influenced by artists like Kraftuerk, Pink Floyd, Brian Eno etc. Matured in the Milan underground scene; today is the owner of an independent record label, called Habitat Recordings L.T.D, founded in the late '90s as well as DJ of some milanese and european clubs where also performs with his crew. It will make you move....:) Been in the business since 1986, first record i leaned to mixed was " Timex Social Club "Rumours"! A Definite Mixing Foundation. Got Into house music about 1987, didnt really know what it was until I went to Detroit Michicagan in 1991 ;to vist and wound up Moving there! Met Ken Colliier! (R.I.P.) ; Came back to Texas and Some how wound up at the Winter Music Conference in 2001( Havent been the same since) I got the opportunity to visit the Shelter in NYC 2002 LOST ;MY ;MIND! I have played in Chicago, NYC, but mainly southern states( TX, LA,TN, OK, MS, GA, FL) ; Currently im spinning in a club here in Dallas, having to change withthe hip hop times, but house is still my heart!
