Whats up as you already saw my name is Chad a.k.a. HouseRoKKa/PsYnapse and I am a DJ based in Durban, South Africa. I have been DJing since 2005, and I'm avid fan of electronic beatz. My love first started with Hard House, and since then my tastes have diversified also into progressive house, tech house, progressive trance, uplifting trance and more recently, progressive psy! I feel that my musical taste and diversity have evolved nicely since I started playing, and I am happy of the place I find myself in my DJ career at the moment. Outdoor trance parties are the way forward, and I'm looking forward to experiencing more of these type of events. These days I will be exclusively playing progressive psy, so look out for mixes under my new alias in this genre - "PsYnapse". Developed my passion for house music in the late 90's when the genre started gaining momentum in South Africa. It was through the influence of some of South Africa's pioneers of House Music, namely, DJ Christos, Vinny Da Vinci, DJ Fresh, Glen Lewis, DJ Khabzela, Oskido and DJ Monde, to mention just a few. While House Music remains my main music of choice, I have also dabbled with a variety of urban genres, incl. Hip Hop, R&B, Dancehall and UK Funky.
