Welcome to my page, hope you will enjoy it! Chris Mageras aka DJ Alex was born on 10/16/1966 in Athens. His first steps in music dj like I did at the age of 17. It was the golden age of disco music. Buying 2 Technics turntables He took mixing techniques. It was difficult at first because there was no suitably technical infrastructure that exists today. There was also the vinyl they purchase many MAXI singles. Began working in various cafes and derive experience. As the years passed I listened, I began to grow. Basically the music always choices were mainstream music. Now the music choices are Tech House .. Latin House ... Tribal House ... Deep House ... and generally it has to do with House Music. I originally started listening to the darker side of D&B, i give a lot of respect to DJ Hazard because that's where i got my inspiration to become a DJ, the first ever Liquid Drum & Bass track I listened to was Logistics - Together. Plus hopefully one day, i'm hoping to start and make my own Drum & Bass tracks / music, once i have a bit more knowledge on the music, I've been DJing for over 2 years now, I'm still learning but I'm getting there. And I've also been a Drum & Bass fan for over 10 years.

Technics 1210 & Pioneer DJM 600, Traktor DJ Deep House, Progressive House / Trance, Vocal House It all began in 1984 in my parents.. hobby cellar. Equipped with a turntable, a CD Player, a borrowed mixer and a microphone I could gain there, between old bicycles and all kinds of old stuff my first experiences as DJ. Six years later, with 18, I began, to turn Hip Hop records in the youth centre and in 1992 one of my friends took me to the legedary Weltspiele in Hanover and electronic music finally got me. I was fascinated by this music which was getting along completely without vocals but nevertehless represented a clear and simple message: „Life is a party! Enjoy it!!!“ I had my first live-gig only one week after I had visited Weltspiele for the first time. At that time, I was working as a doorman at the Trance Club in Hannover. And as one of the booked DJs canceled his gig, I was placed behind the Decks and I played my first Set in front of a bigger audience all with borrowed records (oh yes...many things were much simpler in these days). Fast, local heroes, such as K-Vee, Aki, Asem Shama and global players like Carl Cox or Steve Mason became my idols and I wanted to make it like they did. I bought 2 turntables and a mixer and started to work on my career. I had not to wait for my next gigs for a long time and in the last years I played at TAKT (Hannover), the legendary HANOMAG (Hannover), the A2 (Peine) and I had my own Truck on 3 Reincarnation Parades. Also the rest of Europe did not stay exemted from me. I played at Jail (Zürich) and Zorbas (Mallorca). Today, my main focus lays is on producing. Presently, my equipment is quite limited (just Reason 4.0 running on my homecomputer). But there is more to come.
