Mark Maddox is a Dj from the Northwest of England with over 25yrs experience. Starting out as an 18yr old doing warm up sets for the 96.7FM Radio City Dj's in Mr Smiths Warrington, he soon started getting a reputation for being a diverse Dj as he mixed between genres to build up an energy on the dance floor. That quickly saw Mark being asked to do some warm up sets for the cult tv show Hitman And Her with Pete Waterman and Michaela Strachen. Going past the 90's Dance and Rave scene, Mark fell in love with House music. That passion allowed Mark to grow even more as a Dj and it wasn't too long before he was doing full House sets for some of the worlds most renowned brands. Over the years Mark has travelled across the UK and Europe playing on gigs alongside the likes of David Morales, Erick Morillo, Chicane, Pete Tong, Tall Paul, Boy George, Judge Jules, Whelan and Di Scala (now Camelphat), Anton Powers, David Dunne, Dave Graeme, Esquire, K Klass, Pianoman, Awesome 3, Dream Frequency, Dancing Divas, and many more... as well as playing sets with some of the worlds best Sax, Percussionists, and Electric Violinists to ever grace the dance music industry. Mark has performed in front of crowds ranging from 50 to 10,000 for club brands and venues such as Cream, Ministry Of Sound, Gatecrasher, Enigma Ibiza (ex Kanya Beach Club), Es Paradis Ibiza, Eden Ibiza (where he performed the closing set of the summer in 2019), Ibiza Rocks (for which he held a residency in 2019), Float Your Boat Ibiza, Beat Herder Festival, Widcombe Festival (where he closed the stage after Basement Jaxx), and the sell out Indian Summer Festival (where Mark's brand Royal House held their own tent), and Utopia Ibiza Festival where Mark has headlined for the past 2 years (2021 & 2022). Mark has also performed at corporate events for Toni & Guy, Adidas, and Selfridges, as well as doing exclusive Wedding, Birthday, Boat, Pool, and event After Parties for celebrity and private clients. Mark has done many guest mixes for FM, DAB, and Internet Radio Stations such as Radio City, Rock FM, Kiss, Galaxy, and Gaydio. I started spinning back in the early eighties, purely 12". I have been all throughout the industry from Mobile, Club, After Hours and back to Mobile.....still missing Club Play. I still keep up with the tunes and still enjoy my own mixes in my ride..... A huge thanks for everyone who took the time to check out my mixes. I think that it is awesome that I am able to reach out to so many people from around the world!! Music is meant to be shared with friends, it takes you to places and times that sometimes you cannot explain. Thank you to everyone else out there who is sharing their skills! The best comment that I have ever had yet was from someone who said that my Club Mix inspired them to get back into spinning :). I truly love to hear back from everyone who took the time to stop in and check out my mixes. Cheers- Peace, Love & Music-Jamn J www.dj-jamn-j.com

i started djing at 16 after months of begging the parents for months to buy me some 1210s,which i still use today going strong.my passion in music has to be old school piano, retro and vocal funky house if you cant sing to it then its no good lol.in the early nineties i started going clubbing, and for me to this day was the best for music.when i first got my 1210s i had no intension of djing in clubs it was just a hobby for and for my own enjoyment.i was actually tricked by a fellow dj and good friend who was already djing in clubs, when he phoned me up one thurday night and said he was ill and needed me to help him out and play at a bar for him,to which i found out later it was actually a dj competition to which he entered me and to my surprise i won to which the prize was residency at bradfords biggest dance club which pulled 700 to 800 in every friday and saturday night,my first night djing in the club was christmas eve which was packed out and i was shitting it,it was a big difference mixing some tracks in the bedroom and then to bid audience but i absolutely loved it and was hooked, and so my djing career was born. within the first year things went from strength to strength playing in numerous clubs all over yorkshire and holding down residencys and playing alongside some of the biggest names in the country (alister whitehead,k klass, paul taylor just to name a few) i was more known as a dj for my old school sets and so i was made a resident for retro which took me to ibiza djing at eden and loved every minute. in the mid 2000s i began working with a fellow dj (adam g) at a place called bar me which was just a bar not a club, but in the first 6 months playing there the profits soared 700% and went from a free bar and having to pay in on the door,so we sat down and thought were on to a winner here and decided to brand our own night and event, and so worship was born. our brand of night went from strength to strength holding down rooms at space, gatecrasher, visage and ethios, garlands and many more,we even ended up with our own radio show on a friday night on dvm radio (dance vinyll masters). i think the reason our night worked so well was because we didnt brand it as one style of music it was straight across the board,if it was a classic then it got played. in 2008 we decided to pull the brand as we both wanted to persue over interests,i decided to take a break from djing as it got to a stage where i stopped enjoying it and felt more of a chore going to work instead of doing something i loved. so now im back, loving my music more then ever and back on the scene :-)
