I have been mixing for about 4 years now. I got into the elctronic music scene with my son who has been djing and producing events for at least 16 years, with the name of Nautigroove. I always admired what he does and just learned to love the music. I received a mixer and two cdjs as a gift on my birthday about 4 years ago and decided to get serious. It has taken me this long to actually sound good. I have played out at a few parties and a couple of bar venuse. I just love to mix - all forms of House music . I started dj'ing in 1985, influenced by the Hotmix 5 on WBMX radio. Farley "Funking" Keith was my biggest influence at the time. I stopped spinning in 1993 but fortunately kept most of my record collection. Now I am getting back into the vibe. It was always in my blood. Never faded away, just hibernated for a while. Lime, John Rocca, Africa Bambataa, Kraftwerk, Steve Hurley, Farley, Cajmere...Mostly old skool stuff, getting familiar with the new vibes.

It's not about me or any amazing DJ tricks that I could do - it's about the MUSIC. I am Seanskee, a DJ since 1979. I am an experienced nightclub, event, festival and mix-show DJ. I have played to crowds from the hundreds, to thousands, to tens(hundreds?)-of-thousands in clubs, theaters, events and on TV. My work has taken me from Chicago, to Los Angeles, New York City and San Francisco, among many other cities in the U.S. In Chicago during the rise of House Music in the 1980s and early 1990s -I was Director of Audiotalent/Chicago Music Pool, and wrote / edited / published Street Mix Magazine. As an influential taste-maker, I was featured in clubs like Domaine, Le Passage, Red Dragon, Shelter, China Club, Esoteria, NRG, Baja Beach Club, Tijuana Yacht Club, Sabrina, Eddie Rockets, S.O.P., and many others around all of the Chicagoland area. I have opened for Deee-Lite, and performed on live TV for New Year's Eve celebration on CBS Chicago broadcast from China Club, among other notable events. I was in the music business for 20+ years working for record labels and management companies, working artists' projects from LaTour, Jamie Principle, Cookie Watkins, Steve "Silk" Hurley, M-Doc; and others like Rage Against the Machine, Korn, Funkdoobiest, Volume 10, Cypress Hill, House of Pain, Machines of Loving Grace, The Crow Soundtrack and more. I moved into radio as an on-air personality which led to being a music director, program director and operations manager for Top-40, Rhythmic and Alternative/Modern Rock stations in several states in the USA. I produced and hosted a mix-show for 8 years in Northern California on public radio station KRCB-FM, featuring some of the best DJs from around the world. I am also a remixer, editor and producer with new works coming. Currently I reside on the Florida Suncoast, working on and posting new mix sets online and streaming projects.
