1992 072619 Summer Vibe pt17 (320kbps)

This year I was mainly collecting 1993 records for a big project however, I think I'm going to do when it gets cooler (it involves
6+ tribute sets and turning the AC off while doing so).  I did however get a few 1992 records and a bunch of represses from
Robin's MPS Vinyl repress store.  Besides that I have to listen to something happier for those sunny days.  This one was planned
out slightly however a few tracks caught me off guard with how loud or quiet they were so I had to play around with volume
envelopes after the fact.  I really wanted to use the new Isotonik files that Chris Paul gave me as well.  For some reason
these songs had all of the dynamics compressed out of them.  Getting them to sound great with the original 1992 stuff was...
impossible.  I played around with volume envelopes for the main volume and an envelope for the bass but the dynamics are just
crushed too much.  Simmilar problem with the brilliant Dragon Fly "Dis Jah Little Sound", I couldn't get it loud enough as the bass
was recorded too loud.  Again I tried to save that one with volume envelopes on the different frequencies.  It is what it is,
hopefully a fun listen.  I went through heck with that Krome & Time Manic Stampede record too.  It was a last minute buy on
Discogs after they started raping folks with sales tax.  The record was in bad shape but I did manage to save it with wood glue. 
I also got a partial refund from the seller for misgrading the vinyl.  I'm so sick of Discogs Marketplace!  I hope someone
figures out an alternative shop someday.

Whos that on the cover art?  Is it me?  NO!  It's only the greatest youtube vloger I've come across, Slothy Vlogs.  He's like me
only he has his own family and a friend named Si who he goes to UK carnivals with.  If you've followed my mixes for a while
you'll figure out from the covers that I'm a fan of portable amusement rides so its no wonder I dig this channel.  What
sealed the deal to use him as a cover is his episode where they both start grunting "'Ardkore"... heck yeah I'm going to
sample that.
