This Hacienda inspired mix is a continuation and a total afterthought of the other mix called "Tony Wilson".  I was watching some more youtube vidoes about Manchester when I heard tunes in the videos that I also had.  One documentary was called "Madchester" and it featured Sweet Exorcist "Test Four", D-Shake "Yaaah" which I wasn't even sure if I had so I went digging in my own crates.  I never cared for "Yaaah" but hearing it playing in the Hac made it feel more impressive.  There was a video from "The Hitman and Her" TV show which featured the big tune that started the whole UK 'Ardkore sound, Maurice "This is acid" followed by Todd Terry's "Check this Out".  I purposly didn't even use This is acid in the last one since I play it too much in my sets as it is.  I actually have more then five copies of this record myself though I've yet to find the original Trax pressing.  I finally got good use out of LTJ Bukem's Delitfol which has been collecting dust since I got it.  I had to use some 808 State and Altern8 as both played at the Hacienda.  Theres some nice footage of Altern8 from The Eclipse's The Edge video magazine on youtube which was wonderful to see.  The mix of N-JOI's Anthem and the amen loop from King of the Beats was a real afterthought as it was done in post as a digital mix (the rest of the mix is done the old fashioned way).  I always like to do something different for a last song in a mix if its something well known so there it is, Anthem with an amen.  The tune Anthem itself was a Hacienda classic as its listed in the tracklistings in Peter Hooks autobiography.  The bit at the end is from the Madchester documentary and I believe its the source for the sound in Hardcore Uproar, a tune which I don't have otherwise I would have added that in.  A Guy Called Gerald was featured in the Madchester documentary where he was actually in the US sitting in Derrick May's studio making that very version of Automatic used in this set!  I found my copy of that 12" at a record show where the guy running the booth actually used it as a "who cares" record as he used it as a sign for his wonderful chair, writing on it "do not sit here, this seat is taken".  It really goes to show you how under appreciated dance music is in the US, it never would have become anything more had it not been for those Mancunians.
