It's been a while since I last did some Chilled Music. Also, this is a good starting point to show someone how much variation there can be within styles, and between styles. (Della admits she needs to know more than she does.) It's not all one thing covered by one title - Dance-orientated Music. While listening is going to happen anyway, why not add more?
How to get one track going when another is just about to end. What is beat-matching. When NOT to try matching beats. (Don't laugh. You'll be surprised how many DJs insist that all their music MUST beat-match.) When it's fine to have an irregular beat.
All of this is totally new to Della.
So, we sat down and began. Rather than me do all that's needed, I invited Della to have a go. (Never push anyone into doing anything, no matter what it is.) Nothing elaborate. Basic stuff. Look + Listen = Learn.
