‘Now That's What I Call Music 71’ (UK version) was mixed purely for fun and also as an experiment after a discussion about how much better the ‘Now That's What I Call Music’ Series of CDs could be if they were ‘gapless’ or DJ mixed.
For this mix the complete 45 tracks from both “Now 71’ discs have been used. Some of the tracks mix really well into each other, however because of the different genres and variable BPMs involved, some of the tracks were unmixable so a simple downbeat transition was used.
Some minor echo / reverb at the end of 2 or 3 tracks, the mixing is straight forward without sampling or looping etc!

i must confess mate i only listened to a bit of it, just to see what kind of an example you had put refering to the top 40 battle post!! i did like what i heard tho mate, you did a good job, i can see your point on the variation of style's and bpm's the drop beat idea is very effective in this methord, never would of thought about that... anyway mate going to stop playing now as it's a bit poppy for me, good job mate nice one!!!
