Yeah, after asking you about him I looked him up and found him on Soundcloud (http://soundcloud.com/deejayreact) and saw that he's doing really well; he's made tracks with Gisbo and Bridson and has been getting more work - like you say 'Good on him' - it's good to see a pal doing well. When are you gonna be putting some new mixes up? Cheers, Tone

Tbh it might be a while, i lost my job a few months ago and i am currently seeking employment so buying new equipment is not on the top of my list at the moment. I'm thinking of buying Serato to get the best of both worlds.

What was your job? Other than being a hardcore DJ extraordinaire, what do you do? I think Serato is interesting, I quite like some of the mp3 mixers that are available; kind of the next step, IMHO, leaving vinyl behind altogether and utilising CD deck mixing skills and loads of lovely technology. I know the purists don't like such witchcraft, I expect they still live in caves wearing rabbit skins too - I mean, if you're dead set on rejecting developments... Good luck with the job hunting, things are tough out there - keep us posted, eh?

I was doing Telesales last, i'm applying for jobs pretty much every day but only a few actually get back to me and i don't get the job at the interviews. I've never touched vinyl, only used CDJS and that's one of the reasons i want serato to atleast get a taste of what it's like to mix with vinyl. I don't want to just buy vinyl decks because i mostly mix UK Hardcore and i wouldn't beable to get hold of most of the tracks because most are digital only, as you know.

The company I work for has offices in Bolton just up the road from you - I checked and there are no vacancies at all ATM, very rare for us. I'll keep checking (most of the roles are phone based) and let you know if that changes - would you be interested in F2F sales at all?. I see what you mean with regards Serato, it's a much more cost effective way of 'mixing with vinyl' than actually having to source, buy, store and transport actual vinyl - I bet you'll enjoy the experience. Good luck with the job hunting : )
