Bio

Classically trained in music since the age of eight, DJ Disa progressed from playing lead guitar for various bands in his hometown of Auckland, New Zealand and eventually discovered his own path producing a style of electronic dance music which was heavily influenced by his extensive knowledge of guitar and musical theory. His unique production style transposed his guitar riffs into earth shattering club tunes with an edge, which he intended not to be confined to just clubs, but gain a more universal appeal. Such appeal has led him to be booked to perform and headline events around the world, including headlining act at UK Hard House event "Solitary Confinement". His distinctive, melodic and relentless Trance and Hard Dance productions have caught the attention of leading record labels across the globe, with solid releases on Sonic Boom (UK), LW Recordings (UK), Transfixion Digital (UK/Canada), Alien Technology HQ (Russia), One Way Records (UK) and Genuine Error Records (UK). Based in his London studio, his passion for music has only grown stronger, with over a decade of professional experience producing and performing for up for it clubbers and music lovers alike. Joining forces with the “MadFam” DJ collective, you can expect to enjoy more of his innovative sound, annihilating clubs and festivals both in the UK and abroad.
