ODE TO THE PC's is a Mix I created to capture the raw energy and electro rhythms of Four On The Floor Chicago House as I experienced it during my formative years as a DJ during the early eighties
I grew up on the Near-Southside of Chicago about two miles north of Comiskey Park the baseball stadium that hosted the infamous "Disco Demolition Night". A night we will forever mark as a turning point in the trajectory of dance music. I decided to become a DJ about two years later. The vibe was great during those early years.
Electronic dance music emerged via the influence of Disco, Electro-Funk, New Wave, Synth-Pop, and Italo-Disco. Musical influences that will help to create House Music.

....."I lived near Comiskey Park the place where disco was blown up due to jealousy, racial and cultural hatred. I was only 12 and not fully aware of the significance of the event. Yet during that time I and others were in the process of becoming the next generation of DJ's that would avenge the death of dance music (Disco) in America. House Music rose from the ashes of Comiskey Park and Chicago gave the world HOUSE"...That's cool to state...That's mad love!!!!!!
